CONSTRUCTION SEMINAR
The Department of Physical Planning, Natural Resources and Environment is planning a seminar for construction professionals.  These include surveyors, architects and draughtsmen, in addition to builders and contractors. The seminar will focus on a variety of issues including, but not limited to the following:

1)   Presentation of plans to the Building Board (requirements, standards, guidelines)

2)   Legal requirements and regulations.

3)   Proposals for the new Planning and Development Act

4)   Introducing the formulation of the new 5 year Physical Development Plan.

5)   Building Inspection process and requirements

6)   Surveying requirements for the Building Applications and Land Subdivisions

7)   Sub-division standards, requirements and the application process

The seminar is proposed for mid to late October and is expected to be from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon, with a refreshment break at 10:30 a.m.  Further information will be available shortly.
