| DEMONSTRATION ACTIVITIES: Bath Bogs * Develop legal framework for cooperative management of the bogs. * Prepare and implement plan to prevent oil spillage and pollution * Develop educational/interpretive program including viewing towers, walkways, signage and literature about the flora and fauna of the area, conservation issues, etc. * Reclaim and restore degraded areas through re-planting of mangroves and other appropriate plant materials * Protect the health of the bogs by cleaning Bath Stream. * Explore potential cottage industries that use local plants in sustainable ways. |
