Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College was started in the year 1994. It is located at Vattamalaipalayam, about 14 kms from Gandhipuram in a sprawling area of about 45 acres donated by Late P. Ramaswamy Naidu. The college offers 4 year B.E. Degree programme in the following branches:

PRACTICAL TRAINING: It is the objective of the management of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College that a student passing out of the College should be well trained and equipped to meet the challenges and requirements of the present as well as the future. So Industrial Training is given to the students as part of the education scheme in will-established industries. Engineers from industries are invited to deliver lectures on the practices adopted in the industries.
