The Baby Born

No, it wasn't a big fancy hospital,
but in a manger so forlorn.
In a little town called Bethlehem,
our Savior Christ was born.

Animals watched as He slept;
no noise was there made.
Angels watched over the Child;
by the crib the mother laid.

This small Baby that was born,
is the Son of God on high.
Has come to save us from sin,
and for that, He must die.

His birthday's known as Christmas,
when we celebrate His birth.
Yes, He died upon a cross for us,
for when we leave this earth.
