Here's a shot of the Corbin Solo seat along with the backrest my lovely wife gave me for Christmas.Besides my kids and herself it''s by far the best gift she ever gave me.I laso have the matching passanger pad to go along with it for 2 up riding.
Yes Corbin seats are expensive but this is by far the best money I have spent on myself in a long time.
This is the most comfortable and best looking seat I know of.
Heres some of my best handi work. The photo's don't really do it justice, you should see it in person.
I read an article on aluminum polishing after looking into chrome plating some parts on my bike. After seeing some professionally polished motorcycle parts I decided I would attempt to do it myself. After a trip to Home Depot and an auto body supply store I had everything I needed to get started.
I started with the fork tubes which was  a big step since I had never done this before. After about 8 hours, including  disassembly and reassembly   they were done and I was hooked on aluminum polishing.
BTW The forks never came off the bike just the wheel, fender and brake hardware were removed from the front end.The rest of the work was done sitting on a crate in my driveway with about $25 dollars worth of supplies.
Here are the results.
The Cobra hub cover finishes off the front wheel nicely.
Chrome or stainless polished spokes will be my next project I think, as soon as I learn how to lace  a rim myself.
After driving around with 2500 gallons of LP Gas all day or dealing with my kids    or wife my bike is my only get away, even if it's only the short ride to or from work.I have been tempted to call in sick to work after  getting half way there but it hasn't happened yet!It has taken me over an hour to go  the usually 10 minute ride home on   some nice evenings  though.
