Pagan Pride Day 2003
North Texas Pagan Partners.

It's all happening in North Texas!!!!!!!!:

Saturday September 27th

From 9:00 am till 7:00 pm.

Pagan Pride Day will be at CITY HALL PLAZA in Dallas this year. The plaza is located at:

1500 Marilla, Dallas, TX 75201.

Dallas City Hall is situated on 11.8 acres near the center of downtown Dallas. This is where Bryan Lankford, Interfaith Director of Betwixt & Between, delivered the invocation to the Goddess at a City Council meeting. The park plaza is two blocks long and one block wide. It is bounded by Young, Ervay, Marilla and Akard streets.

The plaza includes a 180-foot diameter reflecting pool, a variable height fountain, park benches and three distinctive 84-foot high flagpoles. The plaza is landscaped with trees native to Texas - live oaks and red oaks.

With setup beginning at 7:45am the event will be open to the public from 9:00am and breakdown begins at 6:00pm.

Many groups and organizations are taking part again this year. All participating bodies will be recognized in the program as Pagan Partners.

Vendors galore offering a plethora of wonderful merchandise. Fabulous clothes, musical instruments, books, gifts, incense, herbs, perfumed oils and an unbelievable array of artifacts from across the globe.

Entertainment including activities for children in the form of a stage magician, story telling and face painting. We'll have a display of belly dancing from one of the premier dance groups in the area. An open eclectic ritual and drum jam will round off the day.

We have two nominated charities this year. The Fort Worth A.I.D.S Outreach center for Tarrant County and New Beginning Center for Dallas County. The Outreach Center does wonderful work in the community. With education at the fore, the center also has an impressive nutrition center for its clients. For more information on these charities and the work they do please visit:

New Beginning Center

A food drive will be in operation for the whole of this event and, though entrance is free we ask that everyone bring at least two items of nonperishable food. On behalf of these charities we will also be happy to accept personal care items, toiletries, gift items in the form of aromatherapy items, candles, oils, incense and pre paid phone cards. In fact, anything which brings a little comfort to those less fortunate than ourselves.

We are raising funds to pay for the event and are currently looking for sponsors and advertisers for the program. Sponsorship of $100 or more will include a business card sized advertisement in the program. Those who donate $50 - $99 will be listed in the program as 'Friends of pagan pride Day'. Last year we had several sponsors and more than 20 advertisers. Our many vendors have pledged 20% of their sales to Pagan Pride Day. The net profit from all fundraising and vendor pledges will be evenly split between the two nominated charities.

Volunteers are always welcome to help the day run smoothly. If you feel you would like to be a runner on the day or help in setting up/breaking down please feel free to email us at:

Bring a picnic and make it a family day out.

The Pagan Pride Day, North Texas committee has agreed upon a policy of not talking to or antagonizing protesters if any should be present. If you are a representative of a group or organization it is hoped you will adhere to this policy. Visitors are also asked to comply with the policy. Dallas City Hall Plaza is a public place and we ask that all participants keep that in mind.
