Andrey R. Pavlov, Ph.D.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional scientist with wide expertise in immunochemistry, protein and nucleic acid chemistry, and enzymology. Researcher with extensive knowledge of quantitative assays, design of experiments and statistical analysis, broad experience with sequence databases, and decent programming skills. Expert in commercial DNA sequencing, analysis of DNA sequencing data, and genome sequencing projects.

Allosteric regulation of enzymes, enzyme kinetics of oxidases, reductases, phosphohydrolases, DNA polymerases; mechanisms of specificity of protein-protein, protein-DNA and protein-RNA recognition; study of structural and functional features of DNA replication systems; structural principles of recognition of nucleic acid substrates, regulators, and accessory proteins by DNA polymerases; role of RNA - protein interactions in formation and operation of DNA replication complexes; dynamic modeling of interactions of multienzyme systems with nucleic acids.
