Slave Fashions
The dressings of slaves, incidentally, is an interesting and intracate pastime. The slave is almost never totally nude. Her body is almost always marked with some token of her condition, which is bond. This is usually a collar, but it also may be an anklet, sometimes belled, or a bracelet. Her brand, of course, fixed in her very flesh, deep and lovely, is always worn. There is no mistaking it, the iron has seen to that. Beyond these things, much depend on the individual girl and her particular Master of the time. Individual taste here is supreme. BarkCloth: the inner bark of the pod tree, dyed scarlet, plaited and pounded into cloth akin to burlap, but softer. It has a variety of uses including a rough wrap around the hips of a slave, constituting her only clothing in some instances.

Bina: slave jewelry, usually consisting of plain metals, colored string, wooden or cheap glass beads, sometimes used as a slave name.

Body Chain: closely meshed length of chain, usually 5 feet in length, which can be used in a variety of ways to bedeck or secure a slave. Some are decorated with semi-precious stones and wooden beads. Detachable lock and snap clips allow the chain to be transformed from slave jewelry to slave restraint.

Bondage Knot: a loose knot tied in a slave's hair, near her right cheek or before her right shoulder that has two meanings, depending how it is used. If a slave girl approaches a Master and kneels naked before Him, looping the knot herself, she silently begs for use. If a Master ties the knot, notably during the time of  battle, it His way of marking the girl as taken if He must continue on, leaving her bound behind.

Camisk: slit fully on both sides as well a slit for the head, worn poncho style, the cloth is held in place by a cord tied tightly about the waist, the hem barely coming beneath the groin and bottom so the slave flesh is available at all times.

Chalwar: baggy pants of diaphanous silk, worn by slavegirls of the Tahari, similar to the harem trousers of Earth.

Chatka: a strip of black leather, some 6 inches by 5 feet long, worn like a breech cloth over the curla (red waist cord) by the salve girls of the Wagon Peoples. This is worn along with the kalmak, a vest of black leather. The slave girl may also wear the koora, a strip of red fabric worn as a headband.

Clad Kajira: among the Wagon Peoples, this phrase refers to slaves that wear four articles, the curla, chatka, kalmak and koora.

Collars or Ko-lars: any of the several steel or iron collars that fit around the neck of a slave.

Degradation Stripe: a 2-inch wide band shaved in the hair of Men captured by the talunas, it runs from the forehead to the nape of the neck.

Footwear: shoes and sandals are never given to a slave to wear, they are kept barefoot and occasionally cords are wrapped decoratively about the ankles and calves.

Hunter's Catch: a slave garb made of netting.

Iron Belt: commonly consisting of a horizontal metal bar or strap that snugly encircles a slave girls waist with a vertical component attached to the front of the bar with a hinge. The vertical component is then swung up between the slaves legs and all are fastened at the small of the back with a padlock. Locked around the girl, it ensures she will not be sexually used by any, save the One with the key,  a chasity belt.

Kes: a short black leather tunic worn by the male slaves  of the Wagon Peoples.

Kirtle: a short woolen dress worn by the bond-maids of Torvaldsland, it ties in the front under the breasts, shows off a lot of leg and cleavage. Treaditionally the only piece of clothing a bond-maid wears.

Nose Ring: a fine gold ring fitted into a hole piereced into the septum of the nose. Among the Wagon Peoples, all women, slaves and Frees
wear such rings, as do their animals.

Pleasure Silks: a sheer, clingy silk worn by slave girls only, wraps like a pareau, with a disrobing loop at the left shoulder.

Silver Yoke: In Tharna, male slaves are brought to the Tatrix in yoke made of solid silver, presumaly to show the Tharnan's contempt of riches. The yoke itself, was valuable enough to be the ransom of an Ubar.   

Sirik: an arrangement of chains used to display a slave rather than restrain her, consists of a collar to which about 5 feet of chains is attached, part way down the chains is a pair of manacles , and the chain terminates in a set of shackles.

Sirik, Work: resembles the common sirik but the wrists, to permit work, are granted about a yard of chain. Like the common sirik, its a lovely chain, women are beautiful in it.

Slave Bells: tiny bells which give off a sensual shimmer of sound, threaded by the dozens on thongs or chains, they may be tied or locked around a slave wrists and ankles, or attached to her collar, they are worn or removed at the whim of her Master.

Slave Bracelets: manacles of various types intented to restrain the wrists of a slave; some are akin to handcuffs, while some are jewelry light restraining bracelets made of blue and gold stones.

Bracelets, Hook: leather cuffs that locks on them and snaps, they are soft and the snaps require no key. Some Men enjoy them on Thier slaves, by means of the strap, the locked cuffs may restrains the slave in various ways.

Bracelets, Identifying: used in lieu of a collar, described as silver, it is attached to the wrist of a slave. Information of the Owner is inscribed.

Slave Oval: a hinged iron loop which locks around the waist of a slave, with two sliding wrist-rings and a welded ring in the middle of the back.

Slave Rag: a cloth that is used to bind and conceal the loins of a slave girl, brought between the legs and drawn extremely tight around the waist to emphasize it.

Slave Steel: a generic term for collars, chains, siriks, etc... worn by slaves.

Slave Strap: a heavy strap or belt that buckles behind the wearer's back, in front is a metal plate with a welded ring which passes the 4 hort (5 inches) chain of a pair of slave bracelets, designed to keep the wearer's hands before their body.

Slave Veil: a small triangle of diaphanous yellow silk, worn across the bridge of the nose and covering the lower half of the face, it parodies the heavy veils worn by FW, as it conceals nothing and often arouses the lust in Masters. It is often worn with the chalwar.

Talmit: a headband

Ta-Teera: a simple, one piece cloth, short and sleeveless garnment, also called a slave rag.
