| to whom it may concern: i am assuming you have found a piece of my artwork, an artrovert, and have been sent here because of the website address on the spiffy little tag (see below). the information for the piece you have found is on this site (click "see" to your left). i would love it if you emailed me your story about the piece and tell me where and how you came about it. i will post stories and pictures and figure out what in the world has happened to my art. thanks so much, PP. SPREAD THE WORD OF ARTROVERTISM! the following is what is written on the tags attatched to my artroverts: Hello, I am an artist from Seattle, Washington (I'm nobody famous, so don't get too excited--let's just call me PP.); apparently you have stumbled upon a piece of my work. The reason you have found this painting is because of something called "ARTROVERTISM." I first heard about Artrovertism through an artist by the name of Billy Blob (http://www.billyblob.com/). It is the act of creating a piece of artwork and then, after all of your hard work, leaving it in some remote area, never to be seen again, where a complete stranger may find it and possibly be affected by it somehow. It's basically a way to track where your artwork has traveled and who has come across it. Anyway, the piece you have found is an original, created by moi, and if you would like, you can take it with you wherever you are headed. If you would like to keep it, and possibly hang it in your home (or a museum!), you can; or you can carry it with you for a short time (between rest stops, maybe?), and leave it in some other random place anywhere on the planet. PLEASE DO NOT JUST THROW IT AWAY! My main request, however, is this -- If you find a piece of my work, please email me at: [email protected] I would absolutely love to find out where my art has been, or where else it is headed. I want to hear all sorts of stories. If you take pictures of the piece, email them to me!
