VIEW SCREEN CAPTURES

1. FOR LOVE OF THE CHILD

Andrew is called to help a guy on the local mountain rescue team whose illness means he can no longer drive. Despite this he tries to drive his daughter to hospital after she suffers a bad nose bleed. The father veers out of control on the way, narrowly missing the new doctor (Alex Redman) and crashes.

Also, Sam discovers a family secret concerning Kerri, when her 'Aunt' Jenny suffers complications connected to a caesarean she had in her teens.

2. HIT AND RUN

Dr Alex Redman discovers the secret drug habit of a local policeman who is desperate for promotion. Dr Tom Deneley tells an elderly man that his beloved pigeons are making him ill, and Andrew's affair with Kate may be about to be discovered by her husband, Richard.

3. SKIN DEEP

Cardale learns of the affair between Andrew and Kate, while Richard's personal vendetta against Andrew affects The Beeches.

4. ON A CLEAR DAY

A childless couple trying to adopt a young boy face problems when its discovered that the wife of the wheelchair bound man may lose her sight. Dr Tom Deneley searches for a nanny to help care for baby Joe.

5. ABSOLUTION

A young man discovers that he is suffering from breast cancer. Alex gets a surprise visit from her army officer husband, Paul, leading her to consider if their marriage is really over. Andrew asks Kate to marry him after she tells her husband that is is definately over between them. Dr Tom feels that new nanny, Leanne, is neglecting her responsibilities.

6. LONELY HEARTS (PART ONE)

A female patient who is partially paralysed in a routine operation begins to fall in love with Dr Andrew Attwood when he shows support. When he rejects her advances she decides to punish him.

Receptionist, Carol Johnson meets a man through a dating agency who uses Cannabis to control his arthritic pain.

7. LONELY HEARTS (PART TWO)

Andrew is accused of sexual assault by an infatuated patient. Dr Will Preston, who has been in America, arrives just in time to save the day. Andrew decides to leave Cardale and asks Will to buy him out of The Beeches partnership.

8. DIVIDED WE STAND

Dr Will Preston and Dr Sam Morgan disagree over a teenager who needs a life-saving kidney operation. Alice North discovers the secret cross-dressing habits of a local TV repair man.

9. KEEPING UP THE ACT

Pub lanlord, Mike Pullen, is rushed to hospital when he collapses and hits his head after a barrel rolling competition. He took part in the race despite being warned to take it easy after a diagnosis of heart trouble.

Also, Sam Morgan tries to help a teenager who still wets the bed and Will won't talk much about his family.

10. PLAYING GOD

The parents of a young boy with muscular dystrophy discover they are expecting another child. Will shares a secret with Tomand Alex is forced to face up to the risks of smoking when the wife of heavy smoker become seriously ill.

11. WALLS OF JERICHO

A Downs Syndrome teenager wanting independence moves away from home depsite her mother's wishes,leading to a confrontation with Dr Alex Redman when she discovers her daughter has begun a sexual realtionship with another border at the unit.

Also, romance is in the air when Sam asks Kerri to marry him!

A conversation with a patient leads to a heartbreaking discovery for Kerri about who her real parents are. Will she be able to trust Sam again after finding out that he knew but didn't tell her? Dr Will struggles to help a medical student who is suffering from schizophrenia. He is unable to save the girl when she jumps off of the bridge. Trying to forget it all in the pub, Will has a few drinks too many and makes a pass at Alex.

13. ELECTRICITY

Sam and Kerri are seriously injured in a car crash. Will is stunned by the arrival of a surprise visitor and reveals the shocking truth about his return to Cardale.
