What happened in the last episode?

There are wedding bells in Cardale! Despite the trouble caused by naughty nurse Claire, the two doctors in love, Alex and Tom, have not let her ruin their romance. These two have been through the mill and deserve the happiest of days, but will it turn out like that...?

En route to the wedding Tom recieves an emergency call - a man has suffered a heart attack in a stranded cable car and Tom has to be winched up to the car to attend him. Back at the wedding, Alex explains that Tom will be late, but one woman uses the full proceedings to her advantage. Claire Brightwell is back and its Alex she wants!!
