Jamie Bamber Jamie Bamber was born Jamie St. John Bamber Griffith on 3rd April 1973. He was born in Hammersmith, London, but lived in France with his family when he was very little, returning to England when he was eight. He has five brothers and one sister. Jamie trained at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) after gaining a 1st class honours degree in Modern Languages as St. John’s college, Cambridge University.
