Oregon Powwows Reviewed
Southern Oregon University Powwow, Ashland, OR, April
Medium sized event. No admission fee, very good family atmosphere, lots of bleacher seating, no camping. Pendleton blankets for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Free food and drink to dancers and drummers, free dinner Saturday night, breakfast for drummers on Sunday. Give away to elders, Rabbit Dance competition. There are vendors. Dine Nation and White Eagle singers were there in 2000. Good, fun time.
