This powwow has a very down-home feel. The dance arena is covered by trees. This is a pretty small local powwow and there is no competition dancing. There is camping. Traditional foods of the Pointe-au-Chien, BCCM and Houma people are available. This is a good event to attend if you want to meet some southeastern Indians.
