Comments: I have been back on the powwow trail now for four years. I love the whole atomosphere of powwows, big or small. I dance because I want to dance, not for the money. It is sad to see hardly anyone dance at small community powwows. What are we showing our children? You do not need the best looking outfit to dance as long as your heart is beating with the drum and the feet are moving that is all it takes. Let the music carry you feet. Pilmaya.

Comments: I hope one day ALL natives will attend and dance at ALL powwows,whether they are PAID to or not. It's sad many will only dance for a price. I am a native whether I am paid to or not. I would never accept money, for dancing either.
