...On this page you'll find out about some of my fave bands in the realms of metal, and a few links etc.

First of all; King Diamond. He's my absolute fave singer/songwriter in the world. He's to blame for my entry in the land of heavy metal. I remember taping a show "Headbangers Ball" on MTV, which contained the first showing of the video "Egypt" from Mercyful Fates forthcomming album "In The Shadows". It totally blew me away!!! Kings bonechilling vocals, Shermann/Denners twin guitar attack, the pounding bass from Timi Hansen and the thunderous drums of Per Nielsen made this an unholy experience and I was hooked!!!

Next up; Rob Halford/Judas Priest. Some other faves of mine. Their video "Freewheel Burning" was also on the tape listed above. They 2WO play a huge part in my life. They rank right up there with Mercyful Fate and Iron Maiden. Well then, what can I say, I'm a sucker for the old NWOBHM, and mighty Iron Maiden, also made a huge impact on me.

Like Mille from Kreator once said to the question on who inspired him; Slayer, Slayer and Slayer!. Well who can argue against that? Once voted "The Heaviset Band Ever". Well no objections from me!

Mercyful Fate/King Diamond, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Slayer all laid the foundations for me! Since then countless others have taken place in my collection and in my heart!
