| Lost and Found I lost someone I knew She felt lonely, unloved and old She didn't know what to do Only wait to die as she was told I wish I could have told her The pain and loneliness would go away But she was gone in a moment I never had time to say Her mind broke when she lost her mother She despaired that her family no longer cared There was no way to turn to another No one with whom she might share Do not grieve for this lost soul She didn't die in the typical way After years of medication and anguish She woke up to a happier day This story has a happy ending Unlike most that tend not to be For this lonely broken woman Is now happy and healthy and me 8-4-2007 |
