Savannah "Savy" Rodriquez is living proof of a family with too much money on their hands to use - when introduced she's 17 years old. Savannah was born into a fairly rich family in New York city (the 1st Dimension) and whatever she has asked for, she has also gotten. At times Savannah does act like you'd expect her to - she gets demanding and cocky, evil even when she doesn't get what she wants, but most of the time she's as sweet as charming as she looks.
No doubt Savannah is a free spirit - her parents never felt the need to lie to her about her powers. It was a secret to keep, but only from strangers. Instead, she was very young, a little older than 7 years when her parents carefully started to teach her how to control her powers which has proven to be good thing.
Savannah has a great relationship with her parents and grandmother and she loves her little brother more than anything in the world, though he surely knows how to push her buttons. It's a common thing between siblings, yes.
Even though her family supported Savannah aka Savy, as the other witches have started to call her, she often felt like an outsider when she was little. She didn't want 'normal' kids to find out her secret and therefore she got left alone way too often. Other kids thought she was freaky and the fact her parents had more money than one family needs, didn't help either. People thought she was a cold fish only because she felt she was above others, which wasn't true. She was more like a fish out of water than anything else.
Now this was something her parents were determinated to change. When the girl turned 13 her parents decided to sent the girl to a summercamp across the world and that is where Savannah met Jared. Dark and mysterious youngster stole Savannah's heart immediately - not to mention saved her life too, and although to most people Savannah's feelings for Jared are obvious, to Jared they aren't. Savannah had high hopes and she refused to believe that the only reason Jared contacted the girl was the demon roaming around the summercamp, which they succesfully vanquished together, but that is the case. After few years wasted, Savannah understood that Jared would never love her for he had someone else to look after.
