Hayden has a past filled with blood shed, hate, death and wars, but yet it doesn't stop him from falling for a mere mortal witch girl... It is something he hates about himself, but cannot change no matter what. Whether it's love or simple lust he feels, no one can tell for sure, but while he's not ready to betray his kinds for the girl, he's willing to do almost anything to make sure she stays alive... not unharmed, but alive.
Bo and Hayden were both born into a normal demon family and learnt to be 'bad' from day one. There was no such thing as 'kindness' or 'forgivness', only the Blood Alliance (also known as the Alliance of Blood) led by Sebastian. Even as a little boy he knew that his future would undoubtadly be under the protection of the alliance.
His and his brother's favorite game was always a game called "human hunt", which they often played for hours, even days. As Hayden's father was a loyal servant of the De Saints family so it was only natural that both of the boys were raised to serve the De Saints. At very early age Bo became Sebastian's right hand and one of Dylan's trusted aids leaving Hayden alone with his parents.
Hayden was, however, called to duty too. Both of the boys proved to be efficient killing machines and later they were both chosen to be Dina's protectors. From the beginning, Hayden loved to entertain himself by torturing young girls, but one girl changed it all. Hayden's orders were to find and locate a girl, any girl would do as long as she was part of the Resistance and break her. The deal was to make this girl into a traitor who would in the end, betray her kind and help Hayden and the Alliance to bring down the Resistance. Only, the girl would not bend... still hasn't. When Dylan found out there was no progress with the girl, he ordered her to be killed and Hayden solved the situation by doing what he does best - plotting. He killed an unknown girl claiming her to be the one with whom he had been playing all that time leaving the real target of assassination alive...
