There was no DeeDee Halliwell, not originally, but her identity was a made up by Gabi Lorenzo. At first DeeDee, better known as Yolinar, worked for Enuka (a powerful demon queen) like any decent demon should. She neither liked nor disliked her life, she just blindly did what she was told and kept living her life that way. She was efficient and capable, which is why Enuka often made her complete her tasks. But everything changed, however, after Enuka made her kidnap a 5 years old boy and the demon started to question her queen's actions and reasons. When she found out exactly why she had been ordered to kidnap the boy and kill his parents, she felt something demons usually didn't feel. Guilt.
This is when her life changed.Being a demon, she confronted Enuka face-to-face rather than staying silent, and questioned her in public. For which they naturally put her through hell, quite literally. Yolinar was captured and tortured - They tried to torture her into believing what she had used to believe, but it didn't work. The demon was too strong-minded and so, the first chance she got, she ran away from Enuka and out of defiance, she took the boy with her.
Alone with a young child, the demon didn't know what to do. She couldn't abandon the child and leave him on the street as she planned to, but she dragged him along. Finally, she shimmered into the 4th Dimension and fate stepped into the picture - she met Gabi, who gave her her new name and found them both a foster family from the second dimension (from where they moved into the 4th Dimension soon after). Gabi thought it would suit best, because even though DeeDee was over 80 years in demon years, she looked to be under 20 in human years (at least when she's in her human form). She also thought that by putting the demon into a real family, her basic demonic needs might be altered and removed completely.
Her new life began; DeeDee named the boy Jamie and swore to keep him safe. Despite the fact it was her who took him from his family, they share a bond no one can break. She loves him, and he loves his big sister. His parents is a forbidden subject, a tabu, no one talks about it.
DeeDee is a young, blonde woman, at least when she's in her human form. In Hell's Dimension, however, a demon is always seen in its true form (picture) which is something she actually misses. It is how she truly looks, after all, and whenever she looks like 'DeeDee' she feels a bit trapped, as if she was forbidden from being herself.
All the moral questions and issues human life has brought to DeeDee often make her lock herself up into her room for days, for she doesn't always know how to take care of everything. It is when her boyfriend, Sawyer Wood (known as Spoon), usually comes to rescue and helps the girl out. It was him who taught her that the mistakes she's done, all the bad things, they don't matter anymore. DeeDee does love her boyfriend a lot, but sometimes seeing him doesn't help. At all. It only makes her remember how he'll be old and wrinkled soon and she'll continue living her life for many, many, many years.
When DeeDee isn't depressed and sulking, though, she's a wonderful girl with somewhat sparking attitude. Her best friend is Conor, who's only 16 years old teenager, arrogant and witty, but that's probably why she likes him so much. The boy is always himself which is something she admires.
Despite all the confusion, DeeDee is still strong and valuable member to the Resistance, for she's decided to take down Enuka with any means necessary. Maybe she feels it's the only way she can make up all those things she's done in her past...

Abilities: shimmerring between dimensions and also creating time holes, but since DeeDee is a dream demon she doesn't have superstrenght like demons usually do. She can enter others' dreams and alter them, even kill that way.
