++Power of Witch // characters // Conor Bristow

Vincent Kartheiser as Conor

Conor Bristow

If there's someone who knows how to be rude and harsh, it's Conor hands up. When he has some remark to throw, he usually does without thinking twice. The only person who doesn't have to suffer by his sharp tongue and insults, is his best friend, DeeDee, but only because the girl understands from where he's coming. From where the pain comes... Still, when he's in the warpath, he shows no mercy to others.

All you need is a little understanding. There are so many reasons for why Conor turned out to be such a complicated and mean -at least from the outside- young boy. The cold shell is what protects him from the cold world and all you really need to do is dig a little deeper; Conor was born and raised in the 2nd Dimension just like his big brother, Chester, but neither one of them liked it there. Witches rarely do - just like in the 1rst Dimension, in the 2nd Dimension they know nothing about witches and demons or other World Levels. People hate what they don't understand, it's a common knowledge, and the Bristow brothers always knew they were different. It wasn't something that their parents hid, but it wasn't something they liked, either. Rather it was something that was there, but was never mentioned. The boys were never told why, but they assumed it had something to do with their grandfather, who presumably had also been a witch.

So, to keep themselves safe, both Chester and Conor pretended they were normal kids, but it didn't help - kids have a radar when it comes to that sort of things. Chester, being the older one, was never bullied like Conor, but the younger boy never told his. Not once did he mention his brother how he was humiliated day after day, but only kept it to himself becoming more and more bitter. Conor still doesn't know how Chester in the end found out about it, but hasn't bothered to ask either. It's not something he likes to talk about even though he is grateful; Chester talked to their parents, forced their father to realise that they could not keep living their lives like this, and got them to move into the 4th Dimension. It was only later that Conor found out that Gabi had been in contact with Carrie and Chester throughout the years.

Just when they thought everything was going to get better, Kevin Bristow disappeared without a trace. That was when Carrie decided to quit her job and take care of the bar they had just bought and now that ate a lot of her time - ate the time she could've spent with her children, mending the wounds.

They still haven't found out what happened to Kevin or why he left, but to Conor it was an easy decision to make; he blames his mother. According to him, Carrie didn't love her husband enough to make him stay and that's what's made their relationship very difficult. Conor is hostile towards his mother and all he wants is to move out of the house into Chester's flat that's located above the bar they now own together with Carrie.

As if all that wasn't enough, Conor has problems with his powers too. For some reason, he still hasn't learnt to control them very well which is why he often has to stay home when others go out to 'have fun' - that is one reason among the others why he acts the way he does... Besides, the young guy is lonely. We'll see what he does to solve that problem in the future...

Family: siblings; Chester, mother; Carrie Bristow, father; Kevin Bristow (whereabouts unknown), others unknown so far
Occupation: Spirit Witch
Abilities: Conor is not the strongest witch, not even close. He can produce short illusions, but cannot hold them on for longer than few minutes. Then again, you don't really need that much time to convince someone he's been killed by someone/something. Conor's powers are bitchy and he hasn't learn to control them all that good, which is why he's often left home when others go to fight the bad guys.
