Chester (25 years old when introduced) was born and grew up in the 2nd Dimension, which however, was living life in flaming hell - it's the period of time of his life he rather doesn't remember. Chester noticed at very young age that he and his brother were different from other children around them... and of course, he wasn't the only one that did. As people have the habit of fearing what they don't understand, Chester realised his best chance to live a normal life was to hide his powers from those who didn't understand them. His parents were luckily supporting towards his magical inheritage (as his father was a spirit witch) and that gave Chester the power to keep on going without losing his faith on better tomorrow... only thing is, his parents never really told the kids what 'magic' was about and so up until very late age, Chester had no clue what being a 'witch' really meant. It was just something he was - until one day he met Gabi, who told the young boy what he really was.
Chester tried to keep up a normal life, but with the secret on his shoulders it was difficult. After he found out his younger brother got beaten up by other children day after day he decided that something had to be done; Chester talked to their parents, forced their father to realise that they could not keep living their lives like this, and got them to move into the 4th Dimension.
A life seemed a little bit better, but all the sudden Kevin Bristow disappeared without a trace. That was when Carrie decided to quit her job and take care of the bar they had just bought and now that ate a lot of her time - ate the time she could've spent with her children. Conor never forgave her for that, but Chester understood. Chester got a job and tried to help his mother to provide a decent life to his little brother and after turning 23 the young man bought the other half of the bar from Carrie giving his mother a chance to easy up. He moved into an appartment above the bar although he often stays in the witch castle with Conor.
All those years spent worrying and looking over one's shoulder made Chester a little withdrawn and cynical, though. He's the careful type, always doubting and questioning which is probably why he is still alive. He thinks twice before jumping into conclusions and usually you don't even notice he's there...
Family: siblings; Conor, mother; Carrie Bristow, father; Kevin Bristow (whereabouts unknown), others unknown so far
Occupation: Spirit Witch
Abilities: Chester, like his brother is not the strongest witch, but his powers have kept increasing rapidly. He's also very good in controlling his powers, which always comes in handy. Illusions are his speciality indeed, but he doesn't like to use his powers that often.
