Testimonials
How you feel about your voice is a great metaphor for how you feel about yourself.
I sing in a band which practises weekly and I was surprised at how quickly I began to notice improvements in my singing. After my first lesson with Peter, and a week of doing the homework he set, I found increased control and strength in my voice. My band mates were impressed too....and they've had to endure my singing for years!!

"Everyone can sing" well, I couldn't. After years of hiding in the back row of choirs at school, and not making any sounds, the only place I could sing was in the car...alone. Everyone told me that there was nothing I could do - people could just sing in tune or not. I thought that I had missed out on some gene that allowed other people to sing in tune. Reading some of the advertisements for Power In The Voice, I thought I would go along and see what happened. I really liked the part that said "everyone can sing" - although at the back of my mind I thought, " oh yes, except me". The first lesson was a bit terrifying - I actually had to sing (badly) in front of someone. I am so glad I kept on, doing the exercises, and all in the hope that eventually I would be able to sing in pitch - not great but atleast okay. Peter was incredibly helpful, encouraging and positive, even in my grumpiest moments. After six weeks, yes six weeks, I could actually sing a song in pitch. Wow, it was fantastic. It can be learned. Achieving this also seems to have released other parts of my personality - a sort of general freeing up. This was a totally unexpected side benefit. Learning to sing is one of the best things I have ever done. Wow, I can finally sing!
