HOW TO GET OUT FROM TROUBLE

Jesus did not come to die for us to endure Christianity but to enjoy it. He came to show us the strategy to get hold of the devil, pull him down and march over his head. Many people who claim to be Christians today are knocked down by the devil and cannot lift up their heads any more. These are the people who go to church, speak in tongues, pay their tithes and offerings. Many are in debts, sickness and diseases have afflicted many and they feel like giving up thinking that God has abandoned them. The enemy has sneaked into the church with sin. Fornication and adultery are on the increase and it is only few who are concerned about this great calamity. The Leadership of the body of Christ should be vigilant and should not allow the Jezebels and the Delilahs to penetrate into the church of God. The reason why Christ has delayed is because the Church has become cold and has compromised with the world. Thank God for the faithful few who are pressing on to victory.
Beloved, in any area of your life that the enemy has buffeted you, I would want to encourage you that there is a way out there for you. Let us quickly get into the word of God. Could you please open your bible to Genesis 39: 7-12.
"And after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and said lie with me. But he refused, and said unto his masters wife, 'Behold, my master knoweth not what is with me in the house, and he have committed all that he hath into my hand. There is none greater in this house than I; neither has he kept back anything from me but thee because thou art his wife.' How can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?' And it came to pass as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, or to be with her. And it came to pass about this time that Joseph went to the house to do his work; and there was none of the men of the house there within. And she caught him by his garment saying, "lie with me": and he left his garment in her hand, fled and got out".
Joseph is an outstanding figure in the Bible. Most of us are aware of how his brothers were jealous of him. Because of his insight about the things of the spirit, they deliberately sold him to the Ishmaelites and went to lie to his father that a wild animal had eaten him. Potiphar's wife lied against him and this man was put into prison. But in all these Joseph was vindicated.
The question is how did he do it? HE PREPARED HIS MIND.
The mind is the battlefield, the very place that the enemy would want to possess. When your head is cut off in this world it takes the miracle of God to bring you back to life. No physician can do that. That is why the enemy always tries to bring negative thoughts into our minds in other to win us. Joseph had in mind what to do in times of trouble. His mind was saturated with the word of God. Today Christians go to church without Bibles, notebooks, and pens. They go empty and come out empty. They love to watch movies more than studying the word of God. The Apostle Paul admonished the Romans in the twelve chapter of his book not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of their mind that they may prove what is good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
How much word do you have in you? Jesus defeated the enemy with the word of God. Many people have entered into the Ministry and they don't want to go to any Bible School neither do they want to Study under any person and are confused in the ministry. Over ambition will put you flat on your face. There are so many challenges in this life that Christians ought to study wide to be able to confront them.
2nd Timothy chapter 2: 15
"Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth."
Joseph controlled his mind with the word of God and because of that neither his brothers or Potiphar's wife were able to cripple him. Beloved you are a champion, you can make it, failure is not final, get into the word ask the Lord to connect you to those who are making it and renew your relationship with the father. He was faithful.
Joseph was able to say yes to faithfulness. When he went into that trouble he respected the word of God. Many Ministers today are loosing the anointing of God because of unfaithfulness. There are so many broken homes in the Body of Christ because of unfaithfulness. Church, we should know that we have a covenant with God and he is not a covenant breaker if we stay faithful to him he will stay faithful to us.
Let me tell you how this ministry was born here in the Bronx. There was a lady who had two children with her husband. They lived in Brooklyn, NY. This man left his wife and her two children to live with another woman in New Jersey for six years. Her friends were advising her to find another man and forget about her husband but this woman held on to what God has said in the Scriptures that what he has joined together let no man put asunder.
Her friend who lived in the Bronx told her about what the Lord was doing through me around the world. She called me and I fasted with her for three days. Two weeks later, the lord brought confusion between her husband and his new lover. His concubine threw him out of her house and this man called the wife and apologized that he wanted to come home.
This poor lady informed me so I made an appointment to meet both of them. All of us cried to the Lord for help. I tell you the glory of the lord came down and that house was filled with the Cloud of glory. Now they are living happily with their children.
How faithful are you to your wife? How faithful are you to your husband? How faithful are you to your work? For the fact that things are not going well with you does not give you the license to go astray. This lady feared God she trusted in the Deliverance of the Lord the Bible says "Upon Mount Zion there shall be deliverance and the house of Jacob shall possess their possession."
You are a Christian. A Christian is someone who is different. Joseph was a different person. This lady started to announce to the people of New York, what the lord had done for her and as they came they received their miracles. We have people come to our meetings from New Jersey, Long Island, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx. Two years ago six Barren women received the fruit of their womb in our ministry. Time and Space will not permit me to share these creative miracles with you. Just stay faithful in everything that you are doing in this life and every evil thing that the enemy will bring to you God will turn it to be good on your behalf. Faithfulness can bring you out of this trouble. Friends will not understand you, your family will not understand you, and even the church doesn't understand you I would encourage you to be faithful. That is the key to get out of this trouble. He recognized that all sin is against God.
Joseph had the opportunity to sleep with this lady. The Bible makes it clear that nobody was home at that time, but he came to himself that God is everywhere. I would like to take this opportunity to challenge the people in Leadership not to use their positions to intimidate, abuse of funds or anything that is contrary to the word of God.
What is sin? Sin is rejecting God. It is disobedience, it is lack of faith. God is a holy God and he is expecting his children to live a holy and a consecrated life.
Why should someone pull up a gun and shoot their fellow student, girl friend, boy friend, wife, husband or any human being on this planet? Racism, anger, bitterness, strife, etc... are not from God.
1 John 3:8 tells us that
"He that committeth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth from the beginning."
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. Sin is like a snake; it bites. If you are a Christian and you have fallen into sin, I want you to know that this is your hour of restoration. Take advantage of this message and cry out to God for help. The enemy wants to bind you but he is a liar. I speak forth new life into your spirit right now in the name of Jesus. Satan I command you in the name of Jesus to take your dirty hand out from him/her in Jesus name.
Lady you are special. It is true that you don't have a job. God has not forgotten you so don't sell yourself, you are expensive.
My brother, fear God and hold on to him because this problem will pass away. If you feel like committing suicide I would want to prophesy to you that Jesus is closer to you than what you think. HE FORGAVE HIS BROTHERS
Genesis 45: 1-5 -
"Then Joseph could not control himself before all them who stood by him; and he cried, cause everyman to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren. And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard. And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were terrified at his presence. And Joseph said unto his brethren, come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said I am Joseph, your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me here; for God did send me here to preserve life."
There are a lot of people who are on sick beds today, because they have allowed unforgiveness to have preeminence over them. Beloved let us forgive and forget. You are having all these troubles because you have put so many things in your heart it is about time that you let go, and be free. Let us emulate the example of our brother Joseph He was a man of integrity, a man of strength, and a humble man of God. If you and myself will take this message serious we will be the type of men and women that God has destined us to be. Don't stay in that trouble; get out in Jesus name!
