James Bond 007 is on our screens yet again with a new Spy game for us to blister our thumbs and fingers with. I can assure that after a good game of this - you will be racing through your local streets like shit off a stick, with a BMW Z3 or without one.
The game is very much like 007 Agent under fire for the PS2 and also like the much loved Goldeneye for the classic N64. From a first person perspective, it gives the game a bit more of a grasp on real life action and gameplay. With you only able to see the guns/fists or items, it makes it look a little corny as most first persons are, but ladies and gentlemen I can tell you now that you shall not be disappointed what so ever.
You have a vast array of weapons and items which you can use in the most sticky of situations. From being stuck on a balcony - to trying to get into a hidden room. The infra red glasses and the C4 plastic explosives come in very handy at various points of the game.
The game is based around the film (obviously, tellable by the title of the game) which yet again adds realism to the game. If you have seen the film before you play this game then you should have some sort of idea of what happens and in which order it happens. If you haven't even seen the film before playing the game then the atmosphere is completely new to you and it also makes the game a little more enjoyable.
The game controls are fairly easy to use and get a grasp of - all it is basically is either being a fast learner or having a very good memory. Although myself, I found it easier to ignore the instruction manual for the controls and to find them out on my own.
The games graphics and sound quality are particularly good to say that the game is on the PSOne, which at the moment isn't a supreme console (even though it was the best in its time).
Overall I rate this game a massive 8/10 for its longevity and gameplay. And because its an addictive piece of game which deserves anybodies spare time.
