Each of the races in Aliens vs Predator have advantages and disadvatages when fighting other races. Marines are strong against Aliens, their wepons are more attuned to them, and they have motion senors so they can detect aliens moving in vents and behind walls. They are weaker against Predators because they can not see cloaked predators.
Aliens are a tricky race to get used to due to their ability to stick to the walls (which is a very useful ability, you'll need to master it) Aliens have an advantage over predators because predators literally glow a neon green, no light necessary. Also, predators only really have one wepon that is actually effective against aliens. Aliens are generally weak vs marines do to the fact that the marines can see aliens comming via the motion tracker before the aliens even know they are there.
Corporates are just like marines, the only differance is the wepons selection in Class Weapons mode.
Predators are a sometimes hard to use race due to all the options you actually have. They have 4 vision modes, each highlighting one race while dimming out the other. (the 4th is normal lighting and there are no highlights) Predators have a wide variety of wepons and a cloaking ability that give them a distinct advantage over marines, but they only have 1 weapon that is really effective vs aliens and are at a disadvantage.
