DAY 1

After I got off the plane we had to go to customs.  After that we had to wait for our luggage and waited for a guide and the bus.  We went to Bondi Beach and walked along the beach and walked along the beach with Brian, Sue, Mary, Anup and Jeff. Then we Stopped at the Gap (spectacular view) and walked along it and climbed up the stairs.  We had lunch; it was fish and chips, and ate with my friends. After lunch we went to the bus to the Furama Hotel to check in.  Then we went out of rooms and after that afternoon we to Darlinq Harbour.   We went on a boat that took us to all we saw.  After that we got off the boat we went shopping for gifts and then we went to the Hard Rock café for dinner. We had to wait in line to for the gift for my mom.
 

DAY 2

Today we had our picture taken at Mrs. MacquarleS.  Then walk to the Sydney Opera house for a tour. After that we walked to Costellos to watch opals being made and polished. Afterwards I went into the Costello store were I bought Grandma a opal.  Then went to the Art Gallery for lunch and watched a guy dance.  After lunch we went to the site of the 2000 Olympics are held at the Sydney Aquatics Center . Some of us went swimming in the pool was huge and there was water side that you could go down.  After that we left the Sydney Aquatics Center and hit the road for the Wild Life Park.  We saw animals and you could pet and feed the kangaroos.  For supper we had steak and soda.  After the wild life park we hit the road back to the hotel.  Then Mike, Tara, Brian, Anup and I walked around on George St. We decided to go back to the hotel to go swimming.  We went into the hot tub for a while, and then went in the pool which was very cold.  After I went back to my room to get sleep and to level 5 with Ian, Heidi, Erin, Eric and me were sat outside on the chair to talk. We all went to Erin's room to sit and talk some more and see the TV that was on.  Then Mary and Sue were knocking a for bed check.
 

DAY 3
 
Yesterday we had a 7 hour drive to Kempsey for our homestay. The kids names are Zoe, Kate, Mitchell, and Keir. Ryan, Tom and I are staying here at Zoe's house. We had was chicken and potatoes for dinner. After we went to a disco dancing and I danced with Tara, and Mike, But Ryan wouldn’t dance. After dancing we came back to Zoe's house where our host family was.  We had a little party and we talked about our family and went to bed at 2:00 in the morning.
 

 
DAY 4

Today we got up at 7:30.  We had to eat bread for breakfast.  After breakfast we watch TV until 11:00 o’clock and left for a picnic. Tara, Sue and I walked on the beach and long the water.  Then we walked back to the picnic where we were eating.  Ryan, Tom and I had sausage for lunch but I didn't want any soda.  After lunch we left the picnic and before going home we went to the lighthouse. When we got home Ryan wrote his sister back home and his cousins.  I stood near the fireplace to got warm, and then we had to go to some of Zoe’s friend's.  We had some of the meat and veggies and desert.  Then they pulled a birthday cake out of the kitchen for Ryan and he was surprised.  After supper Zoe took us to her friend’s house.  They had some puppies outside and we want in the home. I sat on the chair and then went back to the were ate.    Then we went back to our host family's home and Ryan fell asleep in the chair.
 
 

Day 5

This Morning we got up at 8:30 to got ready to leave.  I took pictures of the whole family: Zoe, Kate, Mitchell and Keir. We piled in the car to leave for the bus.  We got there they gave us hugs and hand shakes before we got on the bus.  The bus left the parking lot for Toowoomba.  On the way we stopped at the rain forest.  Got here at 6:00 and checked in our rooms.  I had to room with Anup.  Then before dinner we saw wild kangaroos. We got up close to it and pet it. For dinner we had roast beef and veggies and chicken.  After dinner we had a little party for Ryan's birthday.  They brought out a cake and balloons.  They want to another room with a band playing and they made us got up here and do some stuff.
 
 

DAY 6

I woke up at 6:49 a.m. and Anup was still in bed asleep.  I went to breakfast and ate cereal and coffee and then went back to the room, but the door was locked.  At 9:30 we went on tour and rode a horse to some rocks that we climbed up on.  After we got back to the place, we had bread and tea with syrup.  We rode back on the tractor. We beat the horse back to the place.  Then we went to lunch. I had meat, french fries and veggies.  After lunch Brian had his talk about bedtime.  Afternoon we saw a mother kangaroo with a baby kangaroo.  Becky and I fed two baby kangaroos with milk from a bottle.  Later, played football with our group members, David and Rod.  Then I went back to my room and back to pet the baby kangaroos.  Then I went to dinner and met some of the Boston people.  At 7:30 Tara, Anup and I walked down to the bonfire and noboby was there. We were the frist ones there.  Then Tara, Anup and I tried to sing, and then she started to tell ghost stories.  Then people came to the bonfire. A person leading singing asked us to sing our national anthem to him.  After we left the bonfire and went to the bar and talked and walked to the room, but our doors were locked because Brian was doing the right thing for locking the doors.  I went back to the bar and told the man that we were locked out of our rooms.  I got my walkman and a guy wanted to listen to my music.  The guy put it in the tape machine and played and listened to it.
 

Day 7

We got up at 6:50 am. I took a shower and went to breakfast; I had eggs and bacon.   We had to pack our bag for the bus to leave. It was a 3 hour drive to the Kingory where the peanuts are grown and we stopped at McDonalds to eat lunch.  After leaving McDonalds we were on the road through farmland and mountains.   I listened to my walkman.
 

DAY 8
 

Yesterday we got up at 4:30 in the morning for the boat ride to Mustgave. It was a trip to Burdaberg. When we got to the port, we boarded the boat and people were qetting sick.  But I didn't got sick. It was a long trip to the Mustgave Island. When we got there we got off the boat.  I went into the water and took pictures of the reef. It was so cold.  I took pictures of Mary and Brian in their diving suits.  After that we left the reef on the boat for the home land.  We had dinner at 8:30, when we go back to the hotel.
 
 

Day 9

Yesterday we got up at 4:30 because breakfast was at 5:30. Left the hotel at 7:30 and went shopping in town.  Then we went to Havery Bay to catch a boat to Fraser Island.  When we got there we went to the sandbar.  I went to the bathroom and used the phone to call my mom and dad.  I told them that I bought running shoes.  Then we went on a bus which was bumpy and it made me sick almost.  Later, we went to the beach and there was a dingo eating a guy’s shoe. He started running away from us and tried to bite an old lady.  After we walked back to picnic benches we ate bread with syrup and then took the bus back to the hotel to check in. I was with Anup and Brian.  We went to dinner at 6:15. After we ate dinner we went to play a video car racing game with Anup. He beat me twice. Then we went on a night walk an the beach.  Anup and I went back to the place where we were staying and went to sleep.
 

DAY 10

David woke us up by knocking loudly on our door.  Breakfast was at 8:30. We ate eggs and bacon, cereal.  We left the island to go back to the coach to go to Brisbane.  It was a long way to Brisbane.  We stopped at Noosa Beach to go shopping and then went to Underworld for lunch and sat with the same people.   After lunch Mike, Tara and I went on a ride with a 3D screen.  It had cool sound.  Then we left for two more hours on the road to Brisbane. We watched a movie on the bus and I fell asleep while it was going.  Finally we got to Brisbane where David showed us the town and where to go shopping.  At the hotel I was rooming with Tom and Mike. When they left I got locked out of my room.  We went to dinner at Ned Kelly’s. We had chicken for dinner, and tried some of the kangaroo, crocodile, and fish.  After dinner we had our picture taken on a stage with David and Rod.  Then we had a meeting after which Tara, Mike, Brian, Anup and I walked back to the hotel.  Tara had to got her money and walked to some shop to buy a digeredo.
 
 

Day 11

Yesterday morning we went to the Brisbane Airport for our plane to go to New Zealand. It was two hours and a half flight.  We went over the sea and we had breakfast on the plane.  When we got there we got off the plane to go baggage claim to got our luggage.  Then we had to go through customs to got into New Zealand and we had to wait.  There was a guy with A People to People sign.  Then we found the bus to ride on and went to Thomas Cook to chance our money and then went to the hotel.  When we got to the hotel, we were told what room we were in. After we settled in it was almost dinner which was at six o'clock.  Then after dinner Tara, Mike, Brian, Anup and I were going to play some cards and they started to tell ghost stories to us.  Then we watched a movie called Junior about a guy who got fat.
 
 

Day 12

Today we got up at 6:30 to take our showers before breakfast.  At 8:00 we left the hotel to go to MERC for a program.  They played games with us in a meeting room.  Then we had morning tea and did a group knot tieing contest. We had the best time and made a world record for doing a center knot as fast at we did.  I went wall climbing – that’s almost like rock climbing but it was different and fun.  At 12:30 we had lunch.  Then after lunch we did games in small groups until 2:30.  Then afternoon tea.  I talked to Tara, Mike, Brian.  Then we left for Takapuna High School to meet our homestay family.  I am with Anup.  The family was very nice and had one dog and one cat.  We ate dinner at 7:30.  After Dinner Cameron and I played computer games.  Then talked to one of the sons in Anup's room.

Day 13

We got up at 6:30 ready to go to school. We had breakfast and went out to the bus after 8:20.  We almost missed the bus for school.  First we went to English class. They read stories and talked a lot.  Someone was eating in the class and was thrown out of the room.  The teacher went out to talk to the student who was eating.  After English class we walked to gym and Anup and I watched the whole gym class do soccer.  The gym teacher blow her whistle at the students and didn't stop what they were doing.  After gym we went to history and went on a field trip with the students to the Auckland museum to see the World War II display.  The students had to get some information on this New Zealand war, and we had lunch on the steps an the museum.  Than we got on the bus to go back to school.  When we got back to school we were late went for science class,.  Anup and I had to sit in the back of the class and wait and hear about chemicals.
 
Then we went to math and we watched what was going on around the room. They were doing graphing of numbers.  At 3:20 we got out of class to go home.  We were on the bus with other kids from our group, we got off the bus to walk home.  Hamish took me to the beach and walked around the beach and went an the hill, saw the city and where guns were.  Then we walked back home and a lady came to the house who brought a cake for the birthday girl.  We had a little birthday party for the her and dinner with her friends, and we gave our gifts to them.

DAY 14

Today we got up 7:00 and had cereal and hot chocolate, then left in the car to go to the school where we met the bus to go to Rotorua.  When we got to Rotorua and went to the skyline skyrides spectacular for lunch and rode the luge.  The luge was fun but going down was hard.  Then we left the skyline to go see the Mayor of Rotorua and he talked to us.  Then we left for the paruaharani Marie for ceremony for our group.  Then we went to dinner and after dinner they put on a show for the two groups that were there with singing and dancing.  They made us come on stage to dance.

DAY 15

Yesterday left from paruaharani and had breakfast.  Then to the hot spring of Crater of the Moon.  We walked through hot streams that came out of the ground and walked along there, and then went back to the volcano and walked in the place, saw pictures and movie of the volcano.  After lunch we went on a shrimp farm. They took us an tour to see where the shrimp were grown in the water. Then we left for the Huka Jet ride.  When we got there we had to wait for two groups to go on the ride.  We were the last one to go on the ride.  We all got wet by water and wind in our faces and we had fun an the ride.  Then we went back to Rotorua and someone from the jade factory talked to us. Then we went to the store and shopped.  After we went to the hotel to sleep and eat, we waited a long time for the room number to be giving to us.  Dinner was at 6:00. I had ham, beef, and fruit. After dinner Mike, Anup, Tara, Brian, and I wanted to go do shopping, so we left the hotel and walked to shops, but they were closed and we decided to go back to the hotel. I went looking for my friends and got the room key.  I got changed to go lift some weights.  Brian asked us to play tennis on tennis courts, and we had fun.
 

DAY 16

We got up at 6:15 in the morning and ate breakfast.  Then we led the hotel for Mt. Tarawera to walk in the crater.  We went by four wheel drive to the top of the crater and then walked down the face to got to the bottom of the crater.  We had to side step down the wall of the crater.  Then walked up the side of the crater and walked down the road to the loo and waited the four-wheel car to pick us up.  Some of us waited in the loo.  I sat near Tara an the way back down the volcano and was so bumpy that we hit our heads on something.  I bumped on my head on the bar above me.  Then we got back to the bus to go to the Rainbows Spring to eat and tour the Rainbow Spring and to look at all the animals.  Then Phil, our bus driver, let us go shopping and we went to the store where I bought a pin for my jacket for school.  We rode back to the hotel, then ate dinner at 6:00.  After dinner I went and played pinball machine and I want back to my room and everyone was in there . They told me to leave and go to a different room with Tara to watch TV and with other boys. Then I went back to my room to sleep and they were still there.

DAY 17

This morning we left from Rotorua to go back to Auckland. It was a long time on the bus. Then we stopped at a pit stop for some food and drink. Then we hit the road and it still too long and we got to Auckland.  We had lunch round two o'clock and after lunch went to the rain forest and saw trees.  We left this nice place to go to the hotel and had different rooms.  At dinner I sat with Tara,  Mike, Ryan, Brian, Nichia, and Amber.  After dinner we had to go to a show in the next building.  We had some the laughs and fun.  After the show was done, we had meeting for tomorrow.  Then went to Tara's room and we had more laughs and talking.

DAY 18

We left the hotel for the museum to look at the display and went to the cafe for coffee and soda, then we left the museum for Pizza Hut for lunch and a lot of pizza we had.  After lunch we went to do some shopping and there was nothing to buy.  Then the bus came to pick us up to go to an extinct volcano and then we went to the Under Water World to look at the fish and animals.  Then we went shopping and I bought a pair of sunglasses.  After that we had to go to the Auckland airport to check in and got change.  It was a long wait and we sat there at 8:00 and we had dinner at 8:10. We went to departure. Now we were on airplane for Los Angeles.
