Washington DC Rally
September 18, 2000
475 L'Enfant Plaza
Washington DC
12:PM - 3PM
Current and former postal workers, and other concerned citizens will rally to protest inhumane treatment,
and retaliation by the US Postal Service, a federal agency.
Workers complain crimes against women, and workplace violence to all genders are treated frivolously, condoned, and tolerated. Sacramento CA USPS supervisor rapes his employee and is given an "EEO sensitivity training class". There is no enforcement of their Zero Tolerance Policies.
Mistreated workers who suffer severe retaliation are taken to
the brink of suicide, and workplace violence.
No federal employer must conduct itself "above the law". We
call upon the President of the United States to conduct an
independent, unbiased investigation of this federal employer
which does not adhere to American values. We call for an investigation of the US Postal Service's EEO Offices that aid in perpetuating abuse of power threatening the integrity of the Civil Rights Act.
