One of a kind is one of the many names that you recognize Rob Van Dam as. Throughout his career he has backed up several statements he has made; never once did he say he was something that he wasn't. Since Extreme Championship Wrestling went under, it's been a fair question to put forward; " Is Rob Van Dam past his peak? Is he in the twilight of his career? ". I'm positive that over the few week's that Rob Van Dam has been here he has proved the critics wrong in every solitary aspect of his game. He's defeated Triple H not once, but twice. Both times Rob was tipped against; both times Rob had the odds stacked against him .. both times, Rob Van Dam dug a hole for Triple H to lay in. The most recent; last week. To say that Smackdown was an emotional night would be an understatement. Scotty 2 Hotty, former Intercontinental Champion .. former double time Tag Team Champion told the backstage Locker Room that it would be his final match in Wrestlemania Entertainment. Although hard to believe, the 18 month run had run it's course.. it was time for one man's dream to end and rest assure, Van Damw asn't going to see out Scotty with a loss. Infact before the match went underway, Rob guaranteed Scotty 2 Hotty that they would walk out victorious and in the end, when that bell rang .. it was precisely them. Once again Van Dam lived up to his words; 6 Straight Wins .. No sign of Losing .. what could possibly stand in his way, you say? Randy Orton. A Former WME Champion believes that he desevres the chance to face Chris Benoit at No Mercy; Orton has protested that he is STILL The Legend Killer in the business .. but the thing is, Randy came off a massive loss last week to Steve Corino. This time, it was HIS Fifteen Minutes that were up; nobody else's, but his. This week promisses to be no different; He's already came out .. He's said his piece .. but what's new, exactly? What makes Randy Orton think that Rob Van Dam is any worse than Steve Corino? To be perfectly honest with you, Rob Van Dam is TEN steps ahead of ANY guy in that Locker Room whether it be Chris Benoit, Randy Orton or Triple H. The fact is; on Smackdown, Randy Orton is going to get one RUDE awakening if he truly thinks that It's going to be a cakewalk; I'll tell you now, the difference between Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam is a simple figure of five .. but what makes that significant.. is that it it's professional wrestling, and in this business you can't AFFORD to be behind by Five Stars .. and THAT .. is what Randy Orton will find out this Thursday Night on Smack!Down. The cameras pan around the top of the Rushmore Plaza Civic Centre, which ironically, is where this Thursday Night's SMACKDOWN is being held. As the camera zooms in closely, you can see literally HUNDREDS of backstage organizers setting up the scene and so fourth. With Smackdown just a few short hours away, everything is hectic. These people .. they are PAID for a reason; a very IMPORTANT reason. If it wasn't for these Men and Women, there would be no Smackdown. However at the same time, Wrestlemania Entertianment expect the absolute best; nothing .. and I DO mean NOTHING .. should be out of place. Everything should be in place; everything should be working correctly. In this sport, there's no room for mistakes. You do your job as quickly as possible thus far allowing you to move onto your next job. It's a simple job, but it's these Ladies and Gentlemen that make Smackdown the number one brand in professional wrestling today. Whilst people are running around like headless chooks, there are however, two very calm individuals. One of them being Rob Van Dam and the other, of course, Pat Patterson. The two are walking side by side through the thick traffic of raging people .. yet somehow .. it doesn't seem to bother them .. or at least Rob Van Dam. ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " This is potentially dangerous Rob. Are you sure you want to go through with this? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Dude, you're making it sound like I'm about to disarm a bomb or something. We're only walking out to admire the statue at the front of this place .. What's the big deal? " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " I'm not quite sure if you've noticed yet Rob .. but there's a STAMPEDE OF PEOPLE IN EVERY DIRECTION WE TURN! " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Uh .. yeah? So? " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " So we are putting our lives at STAKE! You never know who's out there; Randy Orton could of hired some HITMAN to take you out! " Patterson's facial expressions are dead serious and DEAD worried. Rob comes to a sudden hault; several people still hurrying past and a majority of them every so often accidently bump Patterson. Funny enough, Rob hasn't even been touched once. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Chill out man. It's a rush of Dudes and Dudettes, so what? As much as a LOSER that Randy guy is, I don't think he'd try something that .. ugh .. severe. " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " You never know! It's better to be SAFE than sorry, ain't that right? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " You're missing the point dude. We're NOT going to be stabbed or beaten down; do you really think .. for ONE second .. that somebody would try their luck against me? Bro .. I know there's a lot of Losers out there sporting an IQ even lower than YOU, but seriously .. think about it. Who would want to jump The Whole F'N Show? Heh, sure, they might land one punch .. but man, after that? Heh, no worries .. I'll have them on their backs before you can say "Jack In A Box". " Silence. Patterson is left pondering as Rob proceeds to walk once again. ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " Umm.. Rob.. I don't get it. Can you explain it to me again? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Pfft dude .. R-V-D NEVER explains something twice - you know that. Besides, all you need to know is that if anyone is stupid enough to try and attack me then they'll be down on the ground begging for forgiveness. I may not be a big guy, but as the saying goes .. " The Bigger They Are The Bigger They Fall ". So as far as Randy Orton is concerned, he can consider himself a dude in a bucket of bad luck. " Still moving through the crowd, Rob Van Dam leads Patterson by at least a metre. The reason behind it? Patterson simply can't keep up; the crowd is proving to be too much to handle. They manage to find a little bit of space where once again, Rob stops. Patterson bends down holding his knees, gasping for air. ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " These people .. they have absolutely .. NO respect .. for a Legend! " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " What do you mean? I've barely been touched bro. " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " I was talking .. I was talking about me. So much for decentcy these days. If these people had ANY, they would bow down and kiss my FEET! I'm a Living Legend .. this is NO way to treat -- " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Before you go any further dude, let me correct you. You're a Legend, yeah, but please .. Don't use the words "Living Legend" because as you know quite well, Chris Jericho "labeled" that as his gimmick. I have no problem with you saying your a Walking Legend, that's totally cool man .. Just DON'T mention anything of his. " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " May I ask, why? Afterall .. whilst Chris was taking milk from his mother I was pullin' in the Ladies by a truck load .. heh, not to mention the money. The old days .. Gotta love 'em. That's why I've chosen to pass down the greatness to you Rob, that's how SPECIAL you are and that's coming from the GREATEST Intercontinental Champion to EVER surface in a ring! " A big cheesey grin crosses Pat's face; meanwhile, Rob Van Dam seems somewhat amused. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Don't take it to heart but man .. I was special the day I was born. I was ALWAYS rated 5 stars, WELL before you even came to me dude. " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " I know Rob, I know .. but I'm just saying, you're better off with my knowledge on your side rather than on somebody elses. " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Whatever. It's not like you're the one putting on 5 Star Performances every week. Sure, you take care of the finances but look at it this way; I could hire anyone for LESS money and LESS hassle anytime I wanted and they'd STILL get the job done. Fact is bro, when you're Rob Van Dam .. NOTHING's hard and that includes finding new managers. " Van Dam chuckles but on the other hand it's a different story. Patterson straightens his tie and his suit, trying to calm the storm so to speak. ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " There's something I've been meaning to ask you and it just so happens to be the wrong time to tell you .. but Rob .. Am I better than any other guy you've had hanging around you? Especially that Alfonso one? " RVD sighs and strokes his chin. The camera looks closely into Pat Patterson's facial expressions; you can tell he's eager to hear Rob's answer. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Is that what you Manager dudes do? Try to be the BEST Manager out there? Pfft .. bro, do you think I take notice of that stuff? " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " No clue .. do you Robbie? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Just drop it man. If you weren't up to scratch then put it this way; you'd be on the streets searchin' for half a sandwich by now. " After a long break, Van Dam hits the track again. Patterson does his absolute best to keep in touch yet he still drags behind a metre or two. Pat starts to shout so that Van Dam can hear him. Afterall, with all the noise around and not to mention the distance between Rob and Pat, he has no other alternative. ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " What about this week Rob? Smackdown .. Randy Orton .. One on One! Mano-e -- " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " DUDE .. I GET it! I appreciate the fact that you care about Thursday Night but what you're yet to realize is the simple fact that I CANNOT be beaten. I'm 6 and 0, doesn't that talk for itself? Seriously .. Randy contradicted himself by saying I am a Has-been and that I am the past but when you look at the statistics Pat, HE'S the one past his prime. He's a FORMER World Champion and as long as I'm here man, he's never gonna re-claim that status as being The Best in the business. I'm SIMPLY 5 Star for a REASON; Legend Killer or not, this is ONE dude that he CAN'T kill! " The distance between RVD and Pat Patterson expands to a state where not even shouting will get you anywhere. Patterson digs deep, he tries, but doesn't gain anything on Van Dam; infact, he begins to drop off the pace even more. Rob Van Dam reaches the very front of the arena first by a long shot; the question is .. exactly WHY are we here? Van Dam looks around and about ten seconds later Pat Patterson waddles over to his client drained of every last drop of energy. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " You okay, man? We only walked a short distance but the way you're carrying on it's as if we've just run a marathon. " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " Yeah .. well .. It's been a while since I last walked like THAT before. " Pat looks around the place, wondering the exact same thing we are; WHAT is the purpose of this? ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " What's the philosophy behind this Robbie? It Doesn't seem that interesting to me .. especially after what we had to DO to even GET here. " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Thats the point Pat. That's why we're here. " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " What do you mean? We're here to be .. bored? " RVD nods. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Get used to it dude .. this is what you're going to have to put up with but don't thank me, thank Blandy BORETON! Before you ask patterson, yeah man .. I'm saying Randy is Boring. What's exciting about him, tell me dude. " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " Umm .. He get's any woman he desires? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Listen bro; inside that ring, do you ever hear Randy Orton chants? Nah, you don't .. but why? " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " Because he's mean to the fans? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Come on Pat, think beyond the circle. Why do the fans hate him? It's simple; he's boring .. he sucks. Everytime I have to listen to Randy moan about somethin' it makes me yawn and you know why bro? It's cause Randy Orton is LACKING a key ingredient. Heh, trust me on this one dude .. Incredibly, Orton has NO charisma whatsoever! You try staring at a wall, then compare that to listening to Orton .. any difference? Yeah. The wall's got more charisma. Haha. The point im trying to make dude, is that Randy Orton ISN'T exciting. He's a BORING glamour boy and in this industry you can't afford to worry about your looks. He's got the latest jewellery, the best clothes but above all else, the WORST mic skills known to man. The kid TRIES to be entertaining; he TRIES to sound like that angry dude, Triple H, but the fact is bro.. they're BOTH losers! I've beaten Trips' twice and as far as I'm concerned, Randy Orton isn't even HALF the man Hunter is. 24 Years Old, made his debut in 2000 .. heh, dude, he's got nothin' on R-V-D. He hasn't got experience; he hasn't got a GLIMMER of hope when it comes to mat OR aeiral wrestling; No charisma, No totally sweet nicknames - come to think of it, what DOES Randy have? A FAKE name, that's for sure 'cause you know as well as I do Patterson, this dude's name should be Blandy BORETON - " 100% BORING ". " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " I get it now; Randy Orton is a try hard image of his father! " Rob smirks whilst walking over to the statue of Shane McMahon which has 'Shane' holding a sign saying "Sold Out". ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Boreton can protest about being screwed last month but the fact remains dude; He LOST the title because his time is OVER! He may only be 24 but that dude's career was a one time wonder. He's come and like many others man, He'll go. He marks himself down as a man who takes advantages and I've gotta agree, man, he takes advantages when they're there to be taken .. but THAT advantage, dude, it comes from frustration from his opponents. Boredom is a weird thing bro, it can send people insane and luckily enough it's worked against the majority for Orton. He's been able to hit one or two decent moves, bore the crap out of his opponent and walk out with a victory .. but here's the catch .. this week on Smackdown, he's not just facin' ANYBODY. He's facin' (Thumb Taunt) ROB .. VAN .. DAM! And those tricks that he's been able to pull off - gone. They play no part in the match. Like many others, Randy see's me as a guy like Jeff hardy; an idiot that tries to pull of the STUPIDIEST moves just to entertain the fans .. but that right there Pat is where EVERYONE is horribly mistaken. Sure, I take risks but dude .. do you ever see me FAIL them? Nah .. I hit them every time and it ends up winnin' me most of my matches. The Rolling Thunder .. The Van-Daminator .. The FIVE STAR Frogsplash - I use them ALL to good effect. That's the difference between me - Mr. 5 STAR and that fruit loop Jeff Hardy. Take this statue for instance.. " Van Dam walks around the statue as Patterson looks on like a little kid learning English in third grade. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " This statue, what do you notice about it in comparison with Randy Orton? " Pat is dumbfounded. Clueless. Whatever you want to call it. ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " They .. uh .. both .. suck? " Rob rolls his eyes. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Actually, they both are BORING. Look at the statue; It just STANDS there. Dude, you can't tell me that doesn't bore you .. ESPECIALLY after looking at it for more than five seconds. It's the same with Randy Orton, once you've seen that Loser for a few minutes you're bitin' your fingernails, itchin' your legs, sighing .. WONDERING when the dude will finish up and get off the Television. As retarded as it sound bro, Randy Orton and this statue are two of a kind; they share so many things. They both are rock solid of CRAP; they both lack immensely in charisma and dude to top it off they BOTH are total rip-offs! This Shane O Mac statue, bro, how much do they want to rip off the Statue of Liberty? Pfft .. Honestly, these guy's totally suck! Before you question it, yeah dude, Randy Orton's a stealer. Boreton COULDN'T come up with his OWN move so he found the audacity in himself to steal the DIAMOND CUTTER, of ALL moves, from Diamond Dallas Page .. of ALL guy's. What I find funny Pat, is that DDP is one BIG Loser Dude and so is the Diamond Cutter; but Boreton, he's no better. Just like Page - he's BORING! So the fact that Randy had to STEAL a move from Diamond Dallas Page, heh, man .. It's pretty sad if you ask me. Randy, if you're tuned in then do me a favour; stop kidding yourself. I know you hate to admit it but bro, what other option is there? I'm One Of A Kind AND I'm NOT just the best part of the show; Nah dude .. I'm the " ![]() ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " Wait Robbie, that doesn't make sense. A statue can't have charimsa anyway? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " By the looks of thing's, neither can Randy. On Smackdown Pat .. " reverse opertions " .. will take place. My fifteen minutes will be of winner's glory where as his dude .. will be Fifteen Minutes of SHAME! " ' The True Slave ' Pat Patterson: " Have I ever told you how much of a PLEASURE it is to work with you Robbie? " ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " Heh, I know. Cool ain't it? " Rob Van Dam smirks before looking into the camera for the final time. ' Whole Fuckin Show ' Rob Van Dam: " I guess I'll see you in a few hours, hey? Ha-ha. Keep cool dude. " RVD walks out of sight with the footsteps of Patterson trying to keep up with him again, heard. The scene fades to black .. static .. |
