| Melissa Fox I have Will right where I want him, giving in to my charms. Now all I have to do is go in for the kill. Tell him that I still love him. But maybe I should wait for him to tell me he misses me. Well, all he needs is the opportunity to do so, I'll make sure I'm always around. Then again, maybe playing hard to get wouldn't hurt. It's more my style!. Will Simmons picked up his crutches which were next to his locker and started over to homeroom, before he could go any further, he noticed Melissa standing at the door, like she was waiting for him. Will was sick and tired of her following him around. He decided it was time to confront the problem head on. Will neared the door. Melissa flicked her hair over her shoulder, seeing him come closer. "Hi Will, how's things?" Melissa asked with a sweet smile, which usually makes Will melt. Will stood firm, not smiling, not moving. Melissa started to get nervous. "Fine" Will said with a clipped tone. "What are you doing here?" "I wanted to see you" Melissa blurted. She missed him so much. His smile, the way he called her Liss. "Well, if you excuse me, I need to get to homeroom" Will said, quickly. He stepped past her and into the classroom, leaving first, with his head held high. Will made a vow to keep his pride, no matter how much it hurt. Melissa made her way to her own homeroom, smiling as she went. This time he didn't yell at her and tell her to go away. He was weakening. Melissa spotted Cherie across the room and chose a desk next to her. "So, how did you go with Will?" Cherie whispered. "He's weakening, soon I'll be able to tell him how I feel" Melissa said, softly. She smiled at Cherie and turned her attention to what the teacher was saying about the pep rally. Will saw Josh sitting at a desk when he entered homeroom. He went over and sat next to him. "You ran into Melissa again, didn't you?" Josh hissed. Will slowly nodded. "When will that girl get hint". Will shook his head. "I don't know, Rad, it's like her hobby is to stalk me" Will said, snippily. Will ran a hand through his hair "And I'm not going to let her get to me, I've decided just to ignore her". Josh clapped him on the shoulder. "That's the spirit, buddy" Josh crowed. Josh noticed Lila sitting near by and winked suggestively at her. Lila smiled, sweetly back and turned back to her conversation with Amy Sutton. "Looks like someone's in love" Will teased. Josh socked him in the arm. They both laughed. The bell rang and they headed to their first class. Elizabeth sat at her desk, dreaming of Connor, when she saw the guy nearby, turn around to look at her. It was Connor, here in class!. After the bell rang, the guy walked out and Elizabeth ran after him and threw her arms around his waist. "I knew you'd come back" she cried, holding on tight. "Wow, twice in one day, Liz are you sure you're all right?" Todd teased. Elizabeth let go in horror, she needed help, she was seeing Connor everywhere. "Yes, fine, see you" Elizabeth said, blushing. But before she could move, Todd grabbed her arm. "I don't believe you, you're not fine, Liz" Todd said, concerned. "After school, could you meet me at the clock?". "Sure" Elizabeth stammered. Todd released her arm. "Okay, I'll see you then" Todd exclaimed, walking down the hall towards his next class. Elizabeth watched him go. For the first time, she couldn't read what Todd was feeling. Was he mad with her or concerned about her? |
