Ken stared at Elizabeth and Will in shock. They were so close, you couldn't even see a space between them.
"Liz, what are you doing? After the rumours he spread about your sister" Ken thought to himself. Todd wasn't imagining things, something was going on with Elizabeth and Will, but what?

Todd was walking through the library door with the books he needed and nearly collided with Ken Matthews.
"Hey Ken, what are you doing here?" Todd asked, smiling.
"Wilkins, there's something I have to tell you" Ken rushed. "Um, I saw Liz and Will and they looked really close".
"I know, Liz is helping Will with his essay" Todd informed his best friend. "I ran into Mr Collins and he told me that he asked Liz to help Will out since she was such a good writer. You know, to give him some pointers". Ken looked at him for a second and started to laugh.
"Cherie thought something was going on between them, I knew she was exaggerating". Ken chuckled. Todd laughed too.
"Okay, I'll see you at practice" Ken exclaimed, giving Todd a slap on the shoulder. Todd grinned and went back to where Will and Elizabeth were sitting.

Will listened to what Elizabeth was telling him, writing different things on his essay. He was getting hungry from all this work.
"Hey Liz, did you want to finish this tomorrow and go and get something to eat?" Will asked, just as Todd came back.
"Sure Will, I was getting a little hungry myself" Elizabeth answered with a smile. Will thought he would melt right there under that smile.
"I'm back!" Todd exclaimed, cheerfully. He saw that Elizabeth and Will were packing up their books. "Are you finished already?"
"Yeah, Liz told me to take the essay home to re-write it and then we'll read it over again" Will told him. "Liz and I were going to get something to eat".
"Oh okay, well, see you guys later" Todd stammered, glancing at Elizabeth.
"Wait, Todd why don't you come with us?" Elizabeth asked, suddenly. Todd brightened but when he saw Will shaking his head. Todd backed off.
"That's sounds great Liz, but I really have a lot of study to do. Maybe I'll see you later" Todd declined.
"Sure, okay" Elizabeth said, a little disappointed that Todd wasn't coming with them. She didn't know how to talk to Will, it would of helped if Todd was there too. It was so easy for the two of them to have a conversation because they knew each other so well.
"Oh well, C'mon Liz, let's go" Will exclaimed, brightly. "See you at practice Wilkins".
"Are you coming?" Todd asked, surprised.
"Yeah, I'm observing" Will told him. Will smiled at him and walked out of the library. Elizabeth took one final glance at Todd and followed Will out of the library. She was on her own with him, now what was she going to talk about with him?.

Melissa saw Will and Elizabeth leave the library together, fuming silently.
"So Will prefered the other little slut, Jessica was like that, what's to say that Elizabeth was the same?" Melissa thought. Ken saw Melissa looking at them and waved a hand in front of her face.
"Liss, earth to Liss" Ken teased lightly. Melissa looked back at her boyfriend and smiled at him.
"What is it, Ken?' Melissa asked with a sweet smile.
"You seem distracted" Ken mused. "What's the matter?"
"Um, you hungry?" Melissa asked, quickly. "Because I am". Melissa stood up after gathering her books. Ken stood up too, taking her hand. Melissa looked back at Cherie and Gina and winked at them. Cherie smiled, knowingly. Melissa only wanted to go so she could keep spying on Will.
"Talk to you later" she mouthed. Melissa smiled back and walked out of the library hand in hand with Ken.

After Will and Elizabeth brought some lunch, Will led Elizabeth over to a table in the corner. They sat down across from each other. Elizabeth didn't know what to say to him, she fiddled with her straw wrapper.
"Stop it, Liz" Elizabeth silently scolded herself "You don't even like the guy, why are you suddenly feeling nervous and giddy?". She noticed Will watching her intently. She looked up and locked gaze with him. She had answered her own question because she lost herself in his hazel eyes. Elizabeth gave herself a shake, snapping herself out of the trance.
"So, Liz, how is the Oracle going?' Will asked, saying the first thing that came to mind.
"Great, we have a new sportswriter now" Elizabeth told him, knowing that is something he was interested in. "But he's going out of town the day of the football game so I'm looking for a fill-in writer". Elizabeth suddenly got an idea.
"That's not good, so who did you have in mind?" Will asked.
"Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to do it for me? You know more about football that anyone on my staff, why not?" Elizabeth exclaimed, excitedly.
"Really? You want me to do it?" Will said in surprise.
"Yes, would you?" Elizabeth asked, quietly. Will pondered over the idea for a moment, she was staring at him intently.
"Sure, I'd love to do it" Will finally accepted. Elizabeth smiled and sipped her soda, nodding.
"Great, we'll go through your notes after the game if you want" Elizabeth offered.
"Okay, great" Will agreed with a smile. He bit into his burger and took a bite. Elizabeth smiled to herself.
"Did you want to come to the game with me?" Will asked. "I could explain the rules for you?". Elizabeth glanced at him, suddenly feeling shy.
"Sure, that would be fun" Elizabeth told him. Will nodded.
"Is it okay, if I pick you up?" Will suggested "Around 6?"
"Okay" Elizabeth agreed, smiling. She was going to the football game with Will Simmons.
