| Will sat down at his computer in his dorm and checked his e-mail. He had one from Josh, one from Matt and one from Todd. Will scanned the e-mail and grinned. Elizabeth was free to date him. Will quickly logged off his computer, grabbed his car keys and jacket and headed out to his chevy blazer. He wanted to go to the florist to pick up a rose for Elizabeth. He was going to woo her, doing it right. Elizabeth went back to her dorm after her coffee with Todd to get ready for her date with Will Simmons. Elizabeth gathered up her shower things and headed to the bathroom. Will walked around the florist, looking at all the different one when he heard a voice behind him. "She must be really special if you're buying her a red one" A deep voice teased behind him. Will turned around to see Todd Wilkins grinning at him. "Hey dude, how are you?" Will asked, clapping him on the shoulder. "Great, so do you have a date?" Todd replied, glancing at the rose in Will's hand. "Not really, just taking a friend out to dinner" Will told him nonchalantly. He didn't want Todd to know his 'date' was with Elizabeth. "Then the yellow one would be more appropriate" Todd advised him. Will nodded, taking the yellow one after replacing the red one, heading for the counter. "What are you doing in here?" Will asked, curiously. "It's my boss's birthday, I was getting her some flowers". Todd told him. Todd picked up a bouquet and brought it. Will and Todd walked out to the parking lot. "Hey, you want to get breakfast tomorrow or something?" Will asked. Todd nodded. "Sure, meet you at the cafeteria about 9?" Todd suggested. "Sounds good to me, see you then" Will agreed. "Later man". He slapped five with Todd and got into the chevy blazer. He quickly drove off back towards campus to get ready for his date with Elizabeth. Elizabeth stood in front of the mirror, making sure she looked good. She had on a black dress with spaghetti straps that were like a halter neck, like Renee Zellweger's dress in Jerry Maguire. Her hair was swept off her neck in a silver clip. She wore a bit of mascara and lipstick, with a light covering of foundation on her face, going for the natural look. Right on time, there was a knock on the door. Will stood there, dressed in bone pants and a blue shirt. Elizabeth thought he looked handsome. "Wow, you look gorgeous" Will breathed, taking in her appearance. Will held out the rose "This is for you". Elizabeth accepted it from Will gentle fingers. "Thank you, let me just put this in some water and we'll go" Elizabeth exclaimed, offering him entry into her dorm. Elizabeth found a small vase, filled it with water and placed the yellow rose in it at her bedside. She turned to smile at Will. Will melted, that was the most warm and open smile he'd ever see. She was beautiful. Elizabeth picked up her purse. Will offered her his arm. Elizabeth slid hers through his and they headed out to his car. Elizabeth made sure the door was locked behind them, Nina, her roommate was over at her boyfriend's that night. |
