Elizabeth headed back to her office after the meeting. Todd was behind her. He closed the door behind then and took her in his arms.
"What are you doing?" Elizabeth asked with a giggle.
"Aren't you going to give me a goodbye kiss?" Todd teased. Elizabeth nodded and in an instant their lips met in a lingering kiss. Elizabeth's heart beat faster in her chest, the blood humming through her body. A few moments later, Todd released her.
"I'll see you when I return" Todd finished, nonchalantly. Elizabeth nodded. Todd kissed her on the cheek once more and headed for the door.
"Todd, wait" Elizabeth cried, running back into his arms. Todd swept her into his arms for a passionate kiss, even more sweeter than the first. Elizabeth was on fire. They shuffled towards the couch and fell upon it, still wrapped in each other's arms and kissing like there was no tomorrow. Todd ran a line of fiery kisses down her neck. Elizabeth closed her eyes, blissfully. Elizabeth rested her head on his shoulder. Todd stroked her hair, gently, raining kisses on her pretty head.
Half an hour later....Elizabeth walked Todd out of the entrance. They shared one last, brief, tantalising kiss before Todd got into his car and drove away. Elizabeth stood there and watched as his car disappeared down the road. A tear slipped unchecked down her left cheek. Elizabeth wiped it away quickly and went back to her office. Elizabeth knew that the quicker the days passed, the quicker Todd would be returning.
