Richard Stahlman's professional football history stretches from 1924 to 1933, starting with Akron and then wearing the uniform of Pottsville, New York Giants, Green Bay and finally the Chicago Bears. Stahlman didn't confine his athletic prowess to the gridiron. He was also kept busy during the summer in baseball with Wilkes-Barre, New Orleans and Newark. An accountant, Stahlman had been employed by the second largest accounting firm in the U.S., and was supervising acount- ant for Casy Laundry Appliance Co., a division of Murray Corp. of America. |
