JOE  CARPE

    Joe Carpe was born in Westville, Illinois
and attended Grammar and High School there.
He entered James Millikin University, Decatur,
Ill. in 1922 to 1926.
     He played for the Frankfort Yellow Jackets
in 1926; Pottsville Maroons 1927, 1928; Boston
Bulldogs, 1929; Pere Marquette, New England
Semi-Pro Champs, 1930, 1931.
     He is employed by the Massachusetts Dep-
artment of Agriculture, Poultry Division since
1935.
