CLARENCE  BECK

    Clarence graduated from Harrisburg Technical
High School where he played full-back for three
years.  He attended State College where he played
guard for three years, graduating in 1921 as a
Sanitary Engineer.
     As the first distinguished player from outside
to be brought in for a Pottsville football team,
he played as a linemen during the season 1925
with the Maroons.
