NFL Film Crew Due To Record Maroon Story

    A crew from NFL Films, Mount Laurel, N.J., will be in
Pottsville Wednesday to film a documentary on the Pottsville
Maroons, the county-based football team that was denied the
National Football League title 1925 because of a controversial
league decision.
     Nicholas A. Barbetta, Schuylkill Haven, who chairs the
Maroons Memorial Committee, said he and other commottee
members will lunch with the crew at Pine View Acres, Mill
Creek, to share information, childhood memories and memor-
abilia about the team for a documentary that will be aired in
the next year.
