Her father works for the Ministry of Magic next to Ludo Bagman. Her mother is a muggle and works for the law firm Pendleton and Associates. Gwen is the last of 5 children raised in an opulent home. Because Gwen is the "baby" of the family, she was given everything that she would ever want. She was also picked on by her 4 older brothers, all of whom attend or attended Hogwarts. Because of the highly male influence in the Pendleton household, Gwen immediately took to proving herself and joined her brothers in games of Quidditch outside their hillside manor. She would roughhouse and play with her brothers. She also shared their love for Quidditch teams. |
| Gwen's obsession with the Chudley Cannons Quidditch team is extreme. Her room in Wales is covered wall-to-wall with posters of the team. Her father bought her a Cleansweep 7 and had the members of the team sign it for her. Her childhood came to an abrupt halt when she was admitted into Hogwarts. She was sorted into her family's house, Ravenclaw, and became determined to take on another family tradition: making the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Gwen is an excellent student overall, but she doesn't always make use of her potential, instead favoring Quidditch rather than schoolwork. She's intelligent and cunning, befitting of the principles of Ravenclaw. |
