| An annoying person: Are you crazy? Answer: I don't know. After all, is it not true that people in mental hospitals don't know that they are insane? They believe that the imaginary world they live in actually exists. If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a question. Do you believe in this world, in your life, your family and friends? What if you were to find out that none of this exists? That you are actually locked in a padded room while doctors from all over the world come to stand outside your room and watch your strange behavior and listen to your ravings about getting a bad grade on a test in school. They stay outside the room because you sometimes get violent, doing crazy dance rituals that no one understands, babbling on and on about busses and cars and other things that don't really exist. Annoying person: Ok, that's true. But how do you know that you're not insane? Answer: I don't, and I've accepted that fact. Question is, have you? home |
