DAY 19 |
Today was a scorching hot day in Tokyo town. We paid visits to the Imperial palace (We would have gone in for tea but there was nobody home) and the International Forum. A very futuristic looking building in the Tokyo business district.
On route to the station we came across preparations for a local festival. The portable shrines you can see are carried around the streets to the sound of drums and flutes.
