| The next day, Harry left early from breakfast to try and find Sirius in the hallway. After ten minutes of searching, he saw Sirius napping under a window, the morning sun beaming down on him. He walked over and kneeled down next to him. �Sirius,� he whispered, tapping the dog on his shoulder. Sirius�s eyes opened lazily. �Sirius I need to talk to you,� Harry said quietly. Sirius stood up and jerked his head, obviously telling Harry to come with him. Harry followed Sirius into an empty classroom. He sat down in chair, as Sirius started to change into human form. As soon as he finished, Harry started to badger him with questions. �What is a Naidraug?� Harry asked him. Sirius stared at him, looking a little shocked. �Uh� I�ve never heard of it,� he said. �Well, I heard you� I mean I heard Snape mention it,� Harry said. �He�s been doing really suspicious things lately and�� �Have you been snooping around again?� Sirius asked angrily. �Uh� well�� Harry stuttered. �Listen, Harry,� Sirius started, glaring straight into Harry�s eyes. �This is the last time I�m going to tell you. You must never leave your room after 10:30 and wander around the school. Don�t go investigating anything. You need to stop meddling in other people�s affairs. If you don�t stop, there�s a good chance you may get yourself killed. If I find out you�ve been out at night, I�m going to take you out of school and put you somewhere you cant get into trouble. Do you understand me?� Harry stood there for a second, trying to absorb what Sirius had just said. �Y-yes, I do,� Harry said nervously. �Good, now go to class,� Sirius said, just before he changed back into a dog. Right before he left, he gave Harry one last threatening look. Then, he went out the door. |
