| �Hey Ron,� Harry said. �Something wrong?� Hermione asked. Ron looked up at her. �Oh, good morning Hermione. Nothing�s wrong, I�m fine.� Ron said curtly, before resuming his meal. Hermione gave Harry a confused look, to which Harry shrugged his shoulders. The three ate their breakfast in silence, Hermione donning a confused look on her face the entire time. After she finished, she stood up quietly. �Well, I�d better be going, I�ll see you both later,� she said. Leaning down to Harry, she whispered in his ear. �Talk to him, ok?� Harry nodded in agreement, and Hermione left. Harry looked at Ron, whose eyes were unnaturally glued to his plate. �Look, Ron,� Harry started, �I don�t know why you�re mad, but if you�ll just tell me then maybe we can work whatever it is out. I hate it when you give me the silent treatment.� Ron didn�t answer, and Harry started to become annoyed. �Ron, stop acting like a five-year-old and just answer me,� he said angrily. Ron looked up at him with a furious look on his face, but still refused to answer. �If this is about me and Hermione dating, I don�t understand why you�d be so mad about that, it�s not like you like her or something.� With that, Ron stood up quickly, rattling his dishes. The students surrounding him stopped eating and looked at him and Harry. �Oh really,� Ron said sarcastically. �Who gave you the power to decide who I like?� �What are you talking about?� Harry asked irately. �Look, I really don�t want to talk about this right now, alright? Just leave me alone!� Ron yelled. Half of the students had stopped eating now to listen to them. �Why are you acting like this?� Harry demanded. �Look, I�m not going to talk about this right now so just drop it, ok? It�s not important. Just forget it,� he said spitefully, before leaving the table and storming out of the Great Hall. Harry looked around at the people staring at him. The surrounding students quickly went back to eating their food. Harry poked at his egg. Ron always acts like this, he thought, he really needs to grow up. |
