Suddenly, it burst right into his face, and he was covered in purple goop. The class exploded with laughter. Snape looked up angrily at the class.
�What is the problem, Mr. Malfoy?� Snape asked.
�Somebody messed around with my potion!� Malfoy sputtered angrily. He turned around and glared right at Ron and Harry. �It was them!� he hollered, �I know it was!�
Snape looked at the two. Harry and Ron gave their most innocent faces.
�How could we have touched his potion if we�re all the way over here?� Ron said simply.
�They did it! They had to! I didn�t do anything wrong!� Malfoy yelled.
Snape looked coldly at Malfoy. �You must have added something in the wrong order. Please sit down and clean up your mess.� The class went silent. For the first time in his life, Snape believed Harry and Ron over Malfoy. But Malfoy wouldn�t have it.
�That isn�t fair! Make them clean it up; it�s their fault! I�m not touching it!� he shouted.
�Sit down, Mr. Malfoy, and clean �� Snape began.
�NO! I WON�T DO IT!� Malfoy screamed in rage. The class instantly knew that he had gone too far.
�Five points� Five points from Slytherin,� Snape growled, �And if I have to say anything again, it will be 10 Mr. Malfoy,�
Malfoy, too stunned to speak, sat down and began to wipe up the mess. The class continued in silent shock, as Snape continued to scrawl on his parchment. Harry, although quite surprised, couldn�t help but wonder what Snape was doing. He looked over at Ron and Hermione, who gave him confused looks. As the class came to an end, the students quietly stood up. But Harry had to know who Snape�s letters were addressed to. He quietly snuck over towards Snape�s desk and snuck a peek at the envelopes, and he couldn�t believe what he saw. There were several letters, addressed to different people, including wizards with the last names of Avery, Goyle, Macnair, Malfoy, Nott, and Crabbe. Harry knew these names. These people that Snape was writing to were none other than Voldemort�s death eaters.
