| Welcome to the Daily Prophet Education class. My name is Professor Skeeter, not to be confused with my evil aunt. In this class you will learn how to write a newspaper article that is worthy to be placed in the news section of this website. Eventually, as a final project, everyone will have one in there. To join this class click on the join button to the left. This will send me an e-mail. PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME (A FAKE ONE PLEASE), YOUR HOUSE, AND THE SUBJECT! This class will be a ton of fun!! Oh, yes towards the end of the term, we will be putting a student newspaper together. Each student will need to write an article! You will not need to write one for a while. So don't worry!!! |
| Today's Lesson- Picking A Topic When you write an artice for a newspaper, what should it include? How long should it be? What should it be about? In this class, you will be able to answer all of these questions and more when tis term is all over. The first lesson is choosing your topic. The way that you choose your topic, is to pick something that you know a whole lot about. For instance, I might write an article about movies. HOMEWORK- 1. How do you choose your topic?
