Warner Brothers announced today that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be releasedon Wednesday, July 11. This is two days earlier than the original release date of Friday, July 13. WB has not given a reason for this change, but it is suspected that they want to capitalize on a 5 day weekend and cut into the box office domination of Transformers. (WB has moved up the release of their film, License to Wed up two days as well, so that it is not directly competeing with Transformers).
