| This is a list of both confirmed and uncomfirmed rumours of the next 3 Harry Potter books. If you know of any which I have not mentioned please yet me know at [email protected] . |
| Book 5 : - The title will be Harry Potter and The Order of thr Phoenix. (Confirmed) - Won't be released until early 2002, at the earliest. (Confirmed) - Harry and his friends are 15. (Confirmed) - We'll find out why Voldemort killed Lily & James. (Confirmed) - Lupin makes a return. (Confirmed) - Hermione will be made a prefect. (Confirmed) -Not as long as Book 4. (Confirmed) -Fred and George Weasley's last year at Hogwarts. (Confirmed) -We will learn more about Lily Potter. (Confirmed) -Gryffindor wins Quidditch Cup. -We learn why Harry spends his summers with the Dursley's. - Something to do with giants and magic carpets. Book 6 : - Title will NOT be Harry Potter and The Green Flame Torch. (Confirmed) - Harry and his friends will be 16. (Confirmed) - Peter Pettigrew returns. - Harry finds a torch which heals good and kills evil. - Hermione gets hurt and sent to the hospital wing. - Harry and Ron go one on one with Voldemort. Book 7 : - Last word of the book is scar, but this may change. (Confirmed) - Harry and his friends will be 17. (Confirmed) - One of Harry's classmates will become a teacher although no Harry, Ron, or Hermione. (Confirmed) - Malfoy and Harry will work together to stop an Evil Force.. (Confirmed) - J.K. Rowling has already written the last chapter. In an interview with the Today Show and that we will ".. find out what happens to the survivors" I think we will be seeing a very dark ending to the series ... (Confirmed) - Hermione will be Head Girl. - Snape redeems himself or falls in love ??? - Something big is revealed about Lily Potter. - Lily and James Potter will not return from the dead. - We find out why some witches/wizards beome ghosts and others don't. Rowling would only say that the happiest people do not become ghosts. - Professor Lupin plays a big role. (Confirmed) Others : - We will learn more about the Sorting hat in the next three books. Rowling says we will find out what the Sorting hat becomes. (Confirmed) - We will learn what Harry's parents did for a living. This will reveal the secret to Harry's riches. Rowling says this will be an intregal part of the plot. - The fact that Harry has his mother's eyes will be important. Also that her wand was good for Charm work. - We'll learn more about Harry's extended family. - We will see that Voldemort will have a heir. - The RavenClaw Ghost IS the Grey Lady. Rowling told one fan (at a signing) you actually met her in the first book during the Sorting, you just don't know it yet. (Confirmed) - "There is a character who does mange under desperate circumstances to do magic quite late in life, but this is very rare in the world I am writing about." -- J.K. Rowling (Confirmed) - We will see a return of ; Mr. Weasley's flying car, Aragog the spider, Sirius Black, Dobby, Crookshanks, and the Dementors, Lockhart will probably not return. - Hermione will lighten up in future books. (Confirmed) - Major characters will die. - There will be a female DADA teacher. .... Fleur Delacor maybe? -There may be some kind of Romance between Hermione and Ron. - Mrs. Figg is the same Figg (Arabella) that Dumbledore mentions at the end of the fourth book. She is there to protect Harry. |
