Potomac ended their season with a 87-57 loss to St Anne's Belfield in the quarter-finals of the VIS VA State Tournament. The Panthers finished the year with a 19-12 record.

Potomac missed several touch shots and turned the ball over five times in the first quarter, but only trailed 13-9. Brian Freeman had three baskets and Daniel Rizk hit a 3-pointer for Potomac. In the second quarter, St Anne's was able to extent their lead to 10 points at 33-23. Potomac didn't shoot particularly well, but had 3-pointers from Cullen Hamilton and Rizk, while St Anne's hit 8 of 11 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line.

Potomac lost more ground in the second half. St Anne's went 8 for 9 from the line and hit a couple 3-pointers to score 22 points in the third quarter and extented the lead to 55-37. Hamilton and Rizk again hit long range shots for the Panthers, but they couldn't stop St Anne's from scoring. Potomac seemed lost playing defense, and it kept getting worse. St Anne's scored more points each quarter than the previous quarter for the entire game. They put up 32 points in the fourth to send the Panthers packing. Potomac gave up 14 offensive rebounds during the game. Everytime St Anne's would miss, it seemed like they got the rebound and put it back in.

Potomac was led by Freeman with 23 points and 9 rebounds, followed by Miller with 16 points, and Rizk with 9 points. Freeman joined Miller in scoring over a 1,000 points in his career at Potomac. Hamilton broke the single season record for 3-pointers made with 71, and Rizk broke the single season and career record for charges drawn with 28 and 71 respectively. Congratulations gentlemen!
