Potomac ended the Sleepy Thompson Tournament with a 63-43 win over The Heights. This is the third win over the Heights this season for Potomac. The first two were struggles that weren't decided until late in the game. This time the Panthers took care of business and put the game away in the third quarter.

Potomac shot poorly in the first quarter, going 5 for 15 from the field, but built a 11-9 lead. Cullen Hamilton connected on his last 3-point attempt, PJ Miller had two free throws to go along with two baskets for six of Potomac's points. The Panthers also pulled down 6 offensive rebounds to help their cause.

Potomac didn't do much better in the second quarter, except for making free throws. The Panthers went 6 of 8 from the line to build a 24-18 halftime lead. Potomac again the Heights to only 9 points.

In the third quarter, Potomac put the game away, scoring 25 points and allowing just 11 points to take a 49-29 lead. Miller had three baskets, Freeman had a couple to go along with three free throws, Risk and Hamilton had a couple scores including 3-pointers for each.

In the fourth quarter, Hamilton made his fourth 3-pointer, and Daniel O'Connor came off the bench to hit from long range as well. Ashaad Holley pulled down an offensive rebound and put it back for another 2 points. Potomac cleaned up on the offensive boards all game.

Potomac was led by Hamilton with 21 points and 9 rebounds, followed by Miller with 17 points, Rizk with 9 points and 15 rebounds, and Freeman with 9 points.
