OK all you Bounty Hunters from Toronto to Niagra Falls. Probably the last big toy show in the area for the Christmas season will be held on this Saturday, December the 2nd at Sherwwood High School in Hamilton, at 25 High ST. If you can make it between 10 and 4 it is definetley worth it! There are always lots of guys bringing new Star Wars stuff for us to pick from. You may just find what you need! I personally know that one guy will definetley have the new biker scout wave ! Sweet! get there early to snag one up for yourself!

Kevin | November 28th, 2000

LortaPhanble.com has put together a petition to convince Hasbro Canada that there is still demand for Star Wars product up here in Canada.
"They can take our money, but they can never take our POTJ!!!"

Kevin | November 24th, 2000

Jason from Edmonton found the DRIOD ESCAPE and TIE FIGHTER from the 2001 LEGO series at Zellers. On thurs. Nov. 23rd.

12 " Aurra Sing has been spotted for $115 in Montreal, a store called Archambault (a book store). They've also been spotted in WaldenBooks, Plattsburg NY.

Aaron | November 16th, 2000

The Porkins wave has been reported at a lot of Electronics Boutique stores in the States. Keep your eyes open at the ones around here! They usually get things a couple weeks after their American stores do.

Kevin | November 15th, 2000

Hobby Centre / Cave Comics in Toronto has POTJ figs. Maybe other across Canada will too. (If only the comic cave near my house didn't close a few months ago, lol)

Aaron | November 15th, 2000

You can see a large portion of what was stolen at the forum "just found" section. I would like to thank everyone for all they have been doing to help me during this time. A special thanks to Dave Myatt from Jawa Force and artoonews.com as well. Words can't explain how thankful I am to everyone.

Aaron | November 12th, 2000

I am offering a very handsome reward to anyone who can provide me with valuable information that results in the return of my toys. I don't think the average thief goes around stealing action figures. Therfore, I am to believe that it is someone who knows what they are, and how they can be moved for value. Please provide me with anything you find out. If it leads to the return of the toys, you will be rewarded nicely. Thanks everyone.

Aaron | November 12th, 2000

Well I can't believe this has happend to me. I loaded my truck up to move my toys from one location to another, and it all was @#$%&*^% ripped off!!!!! Over 250 pieces. If anyone knows or hears anything about this, please e-mail me immediatley. I am just a little bit upset over this one!

Aaron | November 11th, 2000

Anyone in the Hamilton, Toronto area might want to stop at the Toronto Christmas toy show tomorrow in Etobicoke at the Queensway Lions Club between 9:30 and 3:00. You may just find some of things you are looking for.

Kevin | October 22nd, 2000

Electronics Boutique has been importing POTJ figures from the US, and re-selling them around $12.99CDN. They have very few figures, so finding them is hard, and even finding the ones you want are harder. Have fun!

Aaron | October 21st, 2000

Head over to yakface to check out some great new carded POTJ pics! Also the Porkins wave and the General Leia wave have started to show up in the States. So if you are like me and don't live to far away, it may be a good time to make a toy run across the border. Good luck!

Kevin | October 19th, 2000

Heads up to collectors in montreal, Darren spotted the TRU exclusive 12 inch dewback and trooper at the TRU in longuiel. There are only 3 left!

HASBRO is the one responsible for no new POTJ figures. Initially TRU had them ordered for september but had to cancel them because HASBRO will not be making these figures available to the Canadian market until 2001!!! It probably has something to do with the english/french conversion to the new Force File booklets that come with each figure. Toys r us has still gotten the 12: dewback, 12 asst of Slave Leia, 12 asst of Sebulba , Invasion force, and now the Jedi Power Obi and Mauls.

Aaron | October 16th, 2000

Just a quick note to let everyone in the Hamilton, Toronto area to know that there is a huge toy show on the 22nd being held at the Skyway Trade and Conference Centre at Dixon Rd, and Highway 27, southwest corner. For those in Yellowknife, R2 Holographic, Battle Stormtrooper, Darth with Interrogation Droid, have been spotted at your Wal*Mart.

Jawa Force artist, Allan Whincup is expecting his first child later this week and, since newborns are very expensive, Lorta Phanble Studios has put all the remaining pages of Jawa Force 3 on ebay to help raise funds for him and his wife (look for them under 'jawa force art'). All the pages have a low $15 reserve.

Aaron | October 10th, 2000

Don't forget to check out your local Zellers. There have been lots of reports of the hard to find Tarpals, Oom-9, and Ody Mandrell being found there. Also, don't give up the hunt for Holo R2 yet. I just found one today at my local Wal-Mart. Good luck!

Kevin | October 9th, 2000

R2 w/ Holo Leia has been spoted by the dozen in Edmonton, yes i know Edmonton is a big town ;)

Kevin (aka Kevobi) | October 8th, 2000

For those who don't check the Forums, Koda informed us that Zellers flyer said that SW figures are $2.97 a piece.

Kevobi | October 7th, 2000

Wal*Mart at Duffrin Mall (Toronto) have some Royal Starships for only $50 each. I don't know if there's any left, so good luck!

Alfred was looking in a Book Warehouse in Vancouver, after having seen the 12" Anakin Skywalker with book set. This time, they had it, and the removable limbs 12" c3po for $24 each. The 3po is very, very nice( even if his arms are rather under-articulated) and comes with a fancy, adjustable buckles & straps mesh backpack. Unfortunately, you can't switch the legs into the arm sockets for the "monkey" look you could get out of the vintage 4" figure. Can you believe the original price on these is $75 ...U.S.?!

Hey guys in the Vancouver area: (this in from Andy)
There are some good finds to tie us over until Hasbro gets off their behinds and gives us some new product.
There are some amazing deals on Episode One items:
Royal Naboo Ship Blockade Playset : At Two Walmart locations in Lower Mainland, the set was marked instore at $49.91!!!! Great Deals also include marked down Qui Gon Jinn and Opee Monster Fish at $5.97!!- Note to American Collectors that seem to have a hard time locating thisone. The Theed Hanger Playset (Deluxe One with the break apart Droid) is only $14.97!!!
For those fans that still do not have the Electronic X-Wing Fighter. I've seen three at $22.99 each at the local Sears Outlet store in Burnaby,BC.They are not mint, but are still in pretty good condition.
I am intrigued by the news from Calgary and Edmonton concerning the Commtech figures. We don't seem to have received any in our area Walmart or Toys'R'Us. I did pick up the Canadian Commtech Stormtrooper earlier in the week from a better dealer in the area. There seems to be a glitch on the Commtech chip. When the stormtrooper says "Its them. Blast Them" my Commtech Reader turns off. I've tested other Commtech Chips in conjunction with the same chip. I get the other phrases off the chip when used with other chips, but alone, the first phrase is only read and the Commtech Reader turns itself off. I've also checked the battery. I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this problem with the Canadian Commtech Stormtrooper.
If anybody can help Andy out, plz email him at [email protected]

Aaron | October 4th, 2000

Just a note to all Americans and other people from around the World. Please feal free to enjoy this sight and everything it has to offer to the collecting community. There are a lot of products that still have not come to Canada, I know a lot of us could use a couple of good trading buddies. Welcome!

Aaron | October 4th, 2000

Get to your local Walmarts now! Great deals on liquidation items are being found all across the country. And get this....CommTech Vaders, Stormtroopers, and Holo R2 with Leia have been reported in Calgary and Edmonton!!!!!!So get on that Slave1 and get hunting!!!!!!!!

Kevin | September 30, 2000

Toys R' Us on Broadway in Vancouver has the 12" Dewback and Sandtrooper in. $99.99. Again, US packaging with the French sticker. Still no new POTJ figures. THANKS to Ryan Levere for this info!

Aaron | September 23, 2000

Anyone in the Toronto - Hamilton area may want to check out the Ides of March toy show tomorrow in Etobicoke. The address is 3 Queensway Lions Crt. The show runs from 9:00 to 3:00. It may be a good place to pick up something you missed. See Ya there!

Aaron | September 20, 2000

Just a reminder to start checking your local ToysRus as of Saturday for their exclusive 12 inch Dewback with Sandtrooper. The release date is aparently the 23rd of this month. With any luck, maybe they will bring in some POTJ figures to go with the promotion. I know it is a long shot, but what the hell! See ya!

Boba Faid | September 16, 2000

Wow, long time, no see. I have taken an extended break from this whole internet fad, and handed over the reins of the site to other people. Rest assured, you're in good hands. How am I doing? Well, I'm given up the Star Wars hobby, and could almost care less about the adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Heck, I even released all my figures from their plastic prisons, and have them on display. As you know, collecting Star Wars in Canada is totally bull, making quiting an enticing option. It happened to me, and if things don't shape up, it might just happen to you.

At the moment, I'm trying to redo the page slightly, so that it looks, uh, nice. The main address has (inconveniently) changed again, but it's for the better. Adjust your bookmarks... again. If anyone wants to give me a shout now, feel free, I just won't be posting on the page any time soon. I'd like to point out the POTNS Forum we got set up. It's actually cooler than I expected, and has a respectable amount of posts. Check it out if you can.
