| About Mrs. Poteat | ||||||||
| I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Intermediate Education and a concentration in Social Studies. Later I returned to school to obtain my Exceptional Children's Certification. I have been a resource teacher, taught a self-contained Exceptional Children's class and also been a teacher of grades four, five and six. This year I am enjoying teaching Math and Science to the Mrs. Marlowe's students and to the students in my homeroom. I also teach English,writing and spelling to my homeroom class. I live in Newton with my husband Tony . Tony and I have two grown sons. Jason is a software engineer and Aaron is band instructor at a middle school. We love spending time with our five grandsons Brayton, Addison, Griffin, Dawson, and Ronan. My hobbies are photography, reading, and working with computers. |
